Sup Dan! New Sketchbook - awesome. Can't wait to see what you'll be pouring into this one. Skull study is cool - studies is probably the best way to get used to a new medium.
Merci beaucoup everyone !!
About the tablet.. actually it's not a wacom, it's a genius a5... :s yeah i could find any cheap enough so i had to take that one.
No digis for today though. I havent touched it. Still need to fill my head with all those colors... sorry.
Hope you'll like this one, even though it's not finished yet.
Hey, Nice graphic qualities in the skull. The fighting scene looks nice, hopefully you 'll finnish it!? The back and hip of the guy on the floor looks a bit strange to me.
Nice work
...Et merci pour le feedback!
I actually left a comment in your old sketchbook too. Your pencils skills really are great. So did you just get a tablet? In anycase studies really are the way to go. If your using photoshop you might want to check out a thread started by Bumskee- http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=47859
I'm going to keep a eye out on this sketchbook for sure! That fighting scene is intense!

Ok. Took me a bit of time to update this one. Havent touched the tablet though .... i'm starting right away. So next update will have mainly digis in it. Sorry if you were waiting for some now.
So, in this one, two caravaggios and an sp, approx. 1 hour.
ouw yeah dude, you have awekining my will to get rid of my blunt artistic senses somehow, jus tlooking at your work. don´t worry about not posting digital, cuz the better you will understand values and ligtht , the better your cooulours will look like if u relie on that. good u studie the old masters because of their contrasts and also u´ll find some interesting armours in them and memorize them if u should draw some from mind.
my fav is the skulldude, looks really interesting and is a very creative idea , jus t only thing that could had been better i think are the eyeholes , i just cant figure out what this dark black in em is maybe make some more dark into them more contrast, but maybe u already know since its not finished, but i hope to see it soo.
Im getting huge wes vibes frm you!
That self portrait rocks, I wish I thought of it first.
You better be doing one for the 1st of november when all of ca does one!
