    Yay Dan's back!
Aw, that means I suck even worse doesn't it? Oh well, can't have it all.

Cool update Dan, colours are coming along real well. Here's a thought though: Loose control. The brush(es) you're using is very simply and straight-foward and requires control to get results. Get some weird `n whacky brushes and just start having fun. Even if you don't like the results or prefer the controlled approach, it's always a good excercise. Just a thought

    Keep rocking Dan m'Man!

    Gspot: Thank you

PaperX: hehe, i'm still learning, so i'll try a bit everything. Thanks!!

brendan: yeah, i tried the default quite textured ones from ps, but they seem a bit too simple on long strokes. i'll try Bumskee's ones. Thanks !

Oki: Hey! yeah, i botched up that one :/... thanks !

Here's a rather quick one (30 to 40 minutes). It looks alot like an old one i did, but i concentrated more on the colours. And as a result, i spent way less time at choosing them. I just threw them the way i imaginated them.
More later. Gonna take a small brake, this morning gym got me.

Wow dude, really nice! Dig the skin tones on the arm, looks great man.

You're right, PS' brushes don't really cut it - tricky to get good results. You can make your own though - if you don't know how just shout and I'll show .
One crit I can give you is to just clear up your brush work a bit. Work at getting as comfortable with the tablet as you are with a pencil!

    great work, cheers!

    hi!

post #443 is nice. like the way you gave the face definite planer breaks. I feel like it could be better with some more color variation in there, especially with his gear. and possibly a really bright highlight to show more reflectivity. the more I look at this one the more like it. hey, how old are ya? keep on going with ps stuff!

really good stuff, it should remind me to train more on anatomy, but I've trained all day; and now it just tells me I need to train even more

I really like the design of the last characters armour/clothes; and the arm and face is hot as well. I also like the flat colouring, though I'm guessing more colours on selected parts would make it even better but - oh the time runs which again reminds me that it's time to train some more, bye for now!

brendan: alo monsieur ! Things will get better with pratice and time, don't worry =). I'd appreciate if you could give me of at least point me to min's brushes. I've been looking for them for quite some time now, but no result. Thanks in advance ! !

Santa: hey! thanks alot for the advices. I'll keep 'em in mind. i'm 18, and will be 19 on the 22nd of march. Thanks for the comment !

Dan: hehe, just let it come all by itself, the more attention you put on what youre doing, the more easily you'll understand it. Will to understand your subject, and time to draw it faster. Thanks !!
