Well looks like we've both been away... only youve done somethign in the mean time.. I gotta say i love how dark and moody the latest are.. I would imagine the toning process of those is somewhat difficult.
Since we last spoke ive gone and read a few tutorials etc, now im giving it another go. Gonna finish of this huskie that im currently working on, then on to still life with Bumskee..
"To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams." - Banksy
Dont really fell like im moving forwards... so some random doodlings... kinda like the last figure but currently i think it has dispondent elements in the design language... may have to revisit this one...
great sketchbook- I'd work on some hard crisping up some edges as Bendragon mentioned. For example the harder brushes really worked on those cherries- but could use it a bit more on the clown. That would make things really pop. keep up the good work!
This last group is looking really good. Lots of expressions and silouettes going on. You should go for that and define them more. Maybe add all the details with a finer point. Have fun, and great work!
/.....if there is someone from AUSTRALIA especially from SYDNEY on this site, then leave a msg for me, and I really want to meet with you & to making a friends-of course if you'd agree it...............please
