You have a fantastic sensibilty in your work for someone so young (that's not intended to sound patronising, it's just you see, I'm so very old ), you well deserve the attention you art is getting.
I'm looking forward to your updates!

Wow I didn't realise how much of a difference it would make if I upped the contrast.
Oh and just a random 3 minute doodle I did for Idiot Apathy. A monkey on a mushroom eating a hotdog. After his lecture to me on monkeys I have realised how awesome they really are.
updated version and monkey ;

these are wonderful images! they're fun and dynamic. you've definately nailed down a a style, something many people strive for. you have great great things ahead of you. keep having fun with it. i'm very happy to see something like this. i'd really really love to see these done in a traditional medium. try it out if you get a chance!

hehe! Really good!
Very funny and expressive..
I cant critique on the technuique since this style doesnt aim for 100% realism. But dont stop it! but maybe add som studies too. but keep it fun as Ryan DeMita said !!

DanielC - Hey thanks. I'm using Photoshop 7 at this point, and I use a graphire 6 x 8.
Ryan DeMita - Thanks for the kind words my friend! Actually I was getting my oils out to do what you suggested. Will be getting into them very soon dude.
Chr - Wow thanks for the Bro!. Will do. I try and have as much fun as possible. That's what it's all about.
moroi - Thankyou. I'm glad you like them.
This morning's little critter! I'm off to Sydney for 2 days for a concert, so i'll update with more art then!

I hadn't checked your stuff in a while, and I'm really impressed by how much you are improving. Your more graphic stuff is impeccable, your more three dimensional stuff needs a bit more work (some look a bit softedged and muddy) but it's getting there.
Really inspiring, dude, keep it up. I love your style!

hey bro nice update. i like the shape of the dog-like creatures snout, the bowls of food in the background and especially the bright red eye.
i disagree with what listing said, i think its great that you have your own style, and i dont feel you are locking yourself into anything. exploration is great and its good to learn other styles but never loose what you have and find ways to advance your style. the only time i believe you should change you style is when you feel its holding you back from what your are trying to say. otherwise, i love the comedy and playfullness in these paints. get on those oils! that would be great bro
i noticed you're rating went down to 4 stars, i brought you back up to 5 stars. however, make youself think that there are 10 stars and you have to work hard to get them

Hey Jake, I think Cal (Salaryman) took the words right out of my mouth.... and I'm really excited (and scared) to see where you'll be in ten years.

you have such a great style. your nightmare contribution is my favourite. weird, dreamlike, happy colors yet kinda disturbing on some level... Its the great. Though You should probably do some lifedrawings n such, despite the dullness, to master makeing believable characters and improve lighting skills n whatnot. anywho, its all great.
