Holy cow.. great work with the lighting and shading of the demon and the guy next to him. Your use of colour makes it obvious that you have a skilled hand.

    I will be watching you!

Good start. The body is looking nice, but I thinkt he face has a few kinks, but I cant quite put my finger on it. Is it from ref? Maybe the neck is at an odd angle.

Oh i just noticed that her right breast is larger than her left. Keep up the good work.

Sorry the figure work is so small. Its the only digital copies i have of em at the moment. My digi cam got lost, and my scanner is too small for em. But ill try and replace these with larger images eventualy.

I like the variety of styles you have going on. The editorial type stuff really does it for me personally. There seems to be more energy and freshness to it and you have a great way of communicating your ideas in that format. My favorite is the girl with the crow on her finger. I know it doesn't reflect your ability to render the human form (which you do quite well in the faces), but the graphic appeal mixed with the photograph thumbnails below is a nice touch. Bulletproof has to be one of my all-time favorite songs (out of several hundred, but hey) by any band. I love what you've done by using the lyrics in the circular headed girl piece.

Marvellous little sketchbook you have going here. I really appreciate you taking a peek in mine so I thought I'd return the favor

Hehe it certainly seems you know what you're doing - your lighting is spot on, I love it. Also you have a very cool, distinctive rendering style though you show a lot of variation.

Good stuff mate, I'd love to see more! Keep it up!

Wow, i'm a fan! Thanks for dropping by my book. I'd have to say my favorites are the firey screaming guy at the top and the volcanic woman in the last post. I also really like the thumbnail sillohuettes. Nice handling of light. It's clear from the stuff you've posted that you're way awesome with traditional skills, and applying that to your digis. Only crit-esque thing i can say is that you seem to primarily focus on demented/creepy/outright strange things, which are awesome, but maybe you should step out of your comfort zone and do a peaceful cottage enviro or something in the sunshine.

Not to say i don't like shadowy stuff, so keep bringing that in daily too! Looking forward to more!

Kian: sure man my MSN is Codenothing. Though honestly im almost never on. :oP

    Kilment: Thanks!

    Auden: Thanks!

Tenelaus: That one was a crazy day in class. I just sat down with a pen and a white color pencil and zoned out majorly for a few hours. Is it scarry that all my best stuff was done while sleep deprived? LOL

    MrBob: Thanks!

Mike: Bulletproof rocks! LOL. Im happy to hear you like the more graphic stuff. When most people who know me see it they go "huh??" LOL.

    Spats: Thanks yo!

    Kuroart: Thanks!

Fishspawn: Totaly! I'm always trying to get myself to do a few happy bright (possibly even cute) things now and then. But the projects im doing at work are very dark and demented. I should realy make some more effort to break away from it when i get home.

new rough stuff from the weekend.......
So some of these were just free time on the weekend, a bunch of the 'sketchy'er stuff was done in the car while driving in bumper to bumper traffic. (my commute sucks) and the charcoal pieces were done while i was realy realy drunk. figures were all from ref.

Amazing stuff, sorry i've got nothing constructive to say. I love the digital portraits, the first one with the deep green background is my favourite.
