Simple concept for a robot on my mates up and coming game
Assignment 1 in the gaming thread; just used simple level structures.
I am now starting to add some colour, but dont know where to start Anytips?
Favourite Art Software: Photoshop CS2
Favourite Drawing instrument: Graphite Pencil

Don't start with color. Work on lines; draw from life alot. Draw your hands and stuff, feet, your mouse, your monitor, do some self portraits, do value studies, to master studies in Pencil or charcoal; You gotta take things step by step, it will make things a bunch easier. Start now with doing still lives. Spend 10 hours on 1 still life and show it to us. Make sure the lighting in the room is consistent and unchanging for the time you are drawing it, and don't smudge at all.
As for those little game level pieces; Used vanishing points. It really puts thing in perspective.
