Well this is more an experiment. I shot 3 photos of the same motive with a different depth. Then I superposed the three images. That is the result.

Sweet!
I love photo number 1.
5,6 and 7 all look like paintings.. you have really grown up as far as photography goes, i am really anticipating what you may have for us in the future.
Claude
yup really good pics, they really look like paintings as claude saidmy fav is the tennis ball on the sand
awesome photos!
I really like them aswell, especially 6 & 7. I love how they all have a very nice mood to them.
3,6 and 7 are the best imo. Nice and sharp and the colors work nicely.
Thank you for the comments
That is the reason why I keep posting here on ca.

wow thats some realy nice work you have done there, what were you using as a background, i want to rip ur shots of lol!!! take that as a compliment, im realy realy impresed by this
what camera settings?
These are really, really good.
Im speachless.
OMG
The best for me are the beach shots. Really awsome crispness. No crits from me.
I'm happy you like them.
I didn't use a special background. Through the lighting and my zoom-lense the background became dark.(the distance from the glass to the background was about 2-3 meter)
camera settings:
1/1000s (later I went to 1/1500... 1/4000 is the best but there was not enough light for this setting...)
F/8
ISO 400
50-200mm zoom lense (I used a tripod like 2 meters far away from the glass)
trials: ~50
Just try it. You will see what the right settings are.

wow, your newest photos are great too, Insane!
I have always wanted to try that myself, and I have been experimenting with it aswell. Even though I haven't come up with anything worth showing yet. I envy you, how you get the background that dark, that has been a problem for me.. do you use an artificial light source, or just the sun?
and btw, which one of your lenses did you use, taking the photos at the beach?
hey there! wonderful photos, norwin! that first photo has such a lovely dreamy feel to it. amazing. the little wave is very well done, too. and the wineglass serie is technically flawless and very tasteful. although the "filmstrip" (no. 8) is a little confusing because it's the "wrong" order, but you probably did that on purpose... so impressed here, great job, mr. schmidt!![]()
Wondeful, just wonderful. Post more.
Hugs!

i am sure the last batch looks really cool on your computer. But the compression really ruins things.
The best way to keep your image alive, is if you were to upload it in the PNG format.
Last image looks swell btw.
Claude
Oh... didn't recognize that. (And I can't see the compression at all but I will try it with PNG).Originally Posted by claudeEGYPT

Great image! It looks as if the spider web is bending the straw. :p
Nice shots, man. I have to sa that although I like the concept behind 9, Unless I'm imagining, the photomanipulation isn't really seamless. The ones that follow are beautful, 10 looks like a charcoal rendering. The whear is nice, too, but what's up with everyone writing on their photos these days?
Wheat is neat!
Very nice.
nouvelles images.
s'il vouz plaît.
// eazym you're right. I'll fix that by time. thx for mentioning.

cool pics Norwin I love your pumpkin but my only complaint is the text it reads. Green aga inst yellow you put to much space between the letters so it looks broken up
photography
I dont like "Source of light" text i mean come on.. we all know its a source of light!
Pumpkin and white against green are very very well done and presented.. i agree about the spaces thing though its a bit too noticeable.

I really like your treatment with HDR. It is very dificult to keep HDRs from being garish. But, yours look believable, cheers to that.
I love 24 the most of this last lot.
Claude
