    Fairburn visual reference system?

    I see it mentioned in alot of books, But to me it seems like glorified stock photography. Anyone know what the real deal is? Here is their website

    wow, funny you bring this up. Because i found the Male and Female Full figure books at a garage sale for 2$. I love them. They are great for doing studies and getting a pose for something wierd. They clothes they are wearing are pretty cool too. All 70's wierd stuff. But yea, they supposedly cost $189 in the 70's. I dont think i would even sell mine. Its too nice to have a hard copy of some stock photos. I fucking hate drawing from my computer monitor or haveing to Print them out from the pc.

    Agreed with blahm about sketching from monitor... too much head movement between looks.
