Wow, nr 1 is like a painting, I love it, very nice!
2 is good too, but the leaves look like there made of plastic, which is cool in its own way.

yea this 2 photo looks a bit weird after playing with neat image but it was different and didn't look that bad so i kept it as it is now.

well currently i only have a (1000 x 658px) version for this image.
but if you want like (4800 x 3100px) big version, you have to wait for couple days (i have to get licence for my neat image to adjust bigger photos). but tell me if you would like one, i can get the licence.

here is the 1000 x 658px version anyway.

    cheers

It will soon be a year with the 350D for me as well. :-)

I think some of your pictures could have been stronger or don't belong in a best of series. For example the second of your autumn photos. The night shot with the pink building in the background to the left. The one with the statues (first photo of the same post).

My favourties are the blue-ish flowers of the first post. The cat in the backpack for its humor. The cat girl is always cute. The holy wall is nice. I like that you wrote "photographer" on that one guy's backpack.

Many photos are nice but lack that extra kick. The apple and autumn series for example are technically ok but they lack something that is really interesting, that grabs your attention.

thanks for the opinion Five. the pink building and the statue photos was taken last summer and those are the versions that is left, so no change to modify them anymore.:/
but i like those, so i don't see what you mean.. but as i have said many times in this forum.. everyone has their own eyes for photographing and so on, we can just learn different styles and technigues from each other. so thanks for saying your opinion, i try to see what you mean. yes, they are not so special and i could do much better now if i could get the moment again, but i still like those. maybe those photos are more like a memory for me.. iono..

for those autumn pictures i can agree with you, there are some "medium" photos added to the set, but i saw them as part of the set so i sent them also.

and yes, my main problem is to get something to click in the photo, something to look at, the main subject.. so i end up playing with colors more. i have still lot to learn about taking photos and thanks for this forum and people like you who can say if they see something missing, i can learn more.

    cheers

My faves ar #'s 3, 5, & 7; they have really nice compositions. The clarity in #5 is quite remarkable. Overall, make sure you watch out for overexposure. I also suggest playing around with cropping everynow and then to enhance an image with blur or lessen the negative impact of blur (i.e # 1-4 & 6).

    Can't wait to see more!

I really like #s 6 & 7, great chance compositions. I think more can be squeezed from #5 with a crop down the middle, keeping the left side.

    thanks for the replies

purplerose. i tried to make the photo little different. i think you are right, it can be better. i added the new version of the picture #5. not a big difference from the original or not exactly as you said it should be, but something different.

eazym. yes i was so amazed how the lightning just happened to hit right there
"the thunder god punished the church" (no mean to offend anyone) but yea, i like that one a lot, nice to see i'm not the only one

Nice work with the shadows. I'm drawn to #5 the most. Did the light catch his eye? There's a little white dot where his right eye would be.

yea i think some other light from the room made that white dot to his eye, makes it little spooky i took these before a gig. more pics of that night can be found from my homepage if interested

    hi,

i like the b/w ones better, the red colour had no contrast colour anyway to make either itself or the other one pop.

B/W indeed. The guy with the eye glint looks even more sinister now.

B/W definitely, although watch the highlight tones as a few of them are a bit blown, especially in #2.

thank you for all the replies and Elbereth for the kind words i made these b/w versions pretty fast from those small color versions. i think i should try it again from the original pictures and see if i can get the highlight tones and the blur disappear. i'm personally in between of which ones are better, some are better in b/w and some better with colors.
