Been a long time since I actually posted on this thing. I've improved a bit from the little bit of study I've been doing (since I'm lazy ) Been trying to get into 3d lately but its harder than I thought, since most of the good tutorials assume some knowledge, I guess I'll have to buy some books on the subject but in the mean time...more sketch stuff.

Good stuff, keep it coming. I've noticed improvement in the sketches just in the handful of pics you've posted! Keep it up!
LIVE FREE. DRAW HARD.

Thank you Viking Raider. Heres two other 15 minutes ones.

These are really good.
I did notice that the positioning of the hips in comparison to the torso is a bit off in "Domino" and "The Result". It's like they have been sliced at the waist and shifted half a width to the side.
Apart from that they're all good sketches. Showing lots of promise.

More updates. Doing alot of study, using some "Learn how to draw manga" book based on anatomy, I really hate using it but its all I've got.
Addicted to Bioshock. Drew this a day before I got it. Sorry about the crumpledness, I did it over a friend's house and then I had to go home. Didn't have any folders are anything so I folded it up, lol.
Some random stuff I did just for the learnings.
And this which I'm horribly ashamed of. Any critics on the color or better yet, how to properly paint hair?

Something I thought up. Today inspired by "Idrawgirls." Crit is appreciated

Drew this in 20 minutes. Was searching through a pile of computer paper with my drawings on it (mum won't by me a new sketchbook.) I'll put up some more anatomy and light studies (with the boxes and cones and stuff ) I go to bed.
September 5th, 2007 #10
A more studies and some heads from that workshop over at CGtalk or CGS...whatever they call it, lol. Probably do three more heads tomorrow and finally those cubes and cones.

School has been screwing me over and I've been skating everyday so I only was able to get this done.

Haven't been posting alot lately or at all for that matter. Mainly because I jump around from thing to thing and never really buckle down and get something accomplished. Yes I'm a half asser, but I'm improving with it. :3 Following some videos from mr Riven Phoenix.
Me just playing around in my sketchbook

Sketching around in photoshop. Not much time to do anything today. When i got home i had to go straight to the dentist. They proceeded to poke and prod me with five needles until they gave up trying to get me numb and just sent me on home. December 17 is officially Dentist Pain day.

Hey man, thanks for swinging by my SB. Studies are helping you a lot already. Work more on the torso! You don't seem very confident in your full-body figures.
Your characters are already very original, and your style is coming along at a healthy clip. As your studies progress you'll see it develop even more! I'm looking forward to s'more in here. Maybe more along the lines of the piece in post#8, but I like the creepy shit XD Keep it up, bro.

@iMaiM: No problem and I know I suck at full body everything. I'm doing some studies later today, perhaps even now. So hopefully I'll be able to see some improvement with that. Oh yeah I'll post some more creepy shit just for you. Haha.
@Reject-D: Studies Studies Studies, its all I seem to be doing lately, yet I don't find it boring at all. Rather relaxing in fact. Thanks for stopping by and for the comments :3
Played some rock band and was feeling a little inspired so I sketched out this. Last night been about 1 or 2 hours work on it so far. I plan to at a drummer in the background and maybe a singer though I didn't plan on it.

I've been doing alot of things thus I was unable to post anymore studies but I have been working to some extent. I just installed vista and wiped pretty much everything from my computer. So I've been downloading programs like a madman and finally got Photo shop up and running today. This allows me to post these scapula studies. :3

Back now. My scanner when ludicrously gay and stopped working but luckily I got a new one for christmas and it works like a charm. Time for more studies. ( Mostly Doodling though )
All the "good" sketches were drawn today in my school notebook and since line paper is a travesty they will not be posted. Hopefully I'll put up some more at later hours in the night.

I like what you did with the face structure and skeletal studies - there is definitely a lot of improvement from the first post. It's some great progress!
However, you hands could use a bit of clarity - while the RockBand guitar picture in post 19 is awesome (never could draw instruments) with how the hands are placed and positioned, the rest are a bit questionable.
But then again, you might have been playing around, so if that's the case, my post goes out the window. ^_^

Iceman: Thank you and I'll make sure I do.
TheCao: Appreciate the comment. I was just thinking of doing some studies on hands as I have a Hogarth book for it.
I'll get cracking on that later tonight or perhaps tomorrow.
Regniruth: No problem dude your stuff is great and it was a pleasure to view. Thanks for the comment
Studies, bitches. -chuckle-
I'll probably start on some photoshop thingy I wanted to do then get back to the studies. WIP up by at least 12:01 A.M

Thanks Nebo. Sticking to things is one of my problems but this time I tend to stick to art before I venture off into other crap. It hurts me more than it helps.
In related news I attempted to paint that thumbnail I put up and was met with a brick wall of disappointment. Its just not turning out as I expected it would. Now I can probably get over that and try harder on the next work but I have an unsettling feeling that something is wrong with it. Perhaps maybe someone can see some error and correct me on it in this W.I.P before I go on any further. I'm in dire need of advice here guys. Lay it on me please.

I think it looks interesting. But what story are you trying to tell with the image? Confusing perhaps.
I like your stuff. Great imagination - dig those crazy things you draw here and there.
