Good to see such a big turnout! And its still not to late to join!

The deadline is sunday, that is correct. When on sunday do you ask? well, i'll just say MIDNIGHT GMT to avoid any confusion.

Now i'll wait until there's 5 minutes left, then i'll pay hurri to do 100 gestures for me!

Alright, here's my first hundred . The marked ones are warm-up copies of Hurri, I didn't count them.

yAdam: Nice ones, I dig them.

I ws told by an art professor that a gesture drawing is NOT adrawing of a gesture...but a drawing made with a gesture.
Not a contour drawing of the outside edge of a person but a drawing made with a gesture as if it were made of string. with the emphasis on the mass and flow of the drawing and noton the shape of the contours

he told me this at # 47 on mine. thus the huge change in style midstream.
perhaps Im wrong but is this not what we are attempting?

Okay okay, I have the guts to join.
This will be my post in which I'll post all my gestures. I'll just post the links, the images will be in my sketchbook, but I don't like uploading everything again to this thread to show the pictures in this thread.. Hmmmz.. Maybe I should just put a link to my sketchbook here?

26th of September; approximately 12 gestures (+20 unscanned)
27th of Semptember; approximately 42 gestures

i was also told this, but also that a gesture can be anything that shows the mass and the flow, alot of mine would be along the lines of what your professer was saying though

Well i approached these differently then i usually would. I had to draw them with my tablet, so i did them out of my mind almost completely (all except the hands). I usually draw them on paper and from life, but i didn't want to scan them all. Hope the huge post isn't a problem, i might update with higher compression jpgs.
