    Bell's sketches...

These are a bunch of themed sketches. It's sometime in the future, elements of humanity found out that heaven is more than just a con, it stops humans from reaching enlightenment and so they did what humanity in general does best and went to war.

They recruited the cast out angels and fallen 'daemons', found out that fire and iron work best and that angelic radiance blinds. With those ideas in mind...

    Forces of humanity

Here's a quick, well for me, hour or so from sketch to colour idea. Trying to get some sort of feel for the composition, any comments/crits welcome. This will hopefully be a wip

Feathers will be fluttering down from the armoured figures left hand and the end of the right glowing (flamthrower/plasma). Not sure how the remaining wing will go on the kneeling figure yet.

nifty stuff, though on the wip, I'd make tin man's pose a bit more loose a bit less static-y. I'm intriqued to see how it finishes out though....

    keep 'em coming!

A couple of hours doing something different... hopefully the perspective on his face is okay, still trying to suss it out.

@blackswordsman28, thanks, know what you mean about the pose, want it to look almost like the coup de grace is in passing almost an afterthought, before the armoured figure veers off.

Something i started last night that went through various changes, wanted to keep the painting fairly loose, but might tighten it up. Will probably fill it out a bit, have a few other figures in mind to go with him...
