niva: Thanks man! I know what you mean about my stuff not looking finished. I think Im just being a little lazy, and trying to imply the detail before ever putting in the work to know I actually can put the info there.

Here is a wip. Im sort of experimenting with my approach to picture making. A lot of my work while not horrible in technique are just basically boring. And my stiff figures sort of show this as well. So I guess this is me trying to get away from that.

It kind of looks like he's dancing, so Im going to probably draw the hands differently.

I think you tend to draw some really big noses, so I'd say study some faces from photos and life. Nice amount of stuff though.

Murder stuff lately, I love those pencils! I'd actually work a little more in the direction you've gone with the abstract paintings. The one some posts above looks fine. Working on that could work out great. Adding detail, finding shapes, blocking out form. Keep it up!

no digital finishing power. I see what you mean... but then it's sometimes easier to just start something else. Some people say it's harder to start... i dunno. Yeah. Get yourself some acrylics.

so THAT'S what I was supposed to see in that big black blackness for graphic essay? Fucking printers, I swear. The one at the kinko's in Willow Lawn has said "tray rollers" and... something else I forgot the name of... "way past life."

If we were smart the digital guys would have gotten together a LONG time ago, back when this would have been beneficial longer, and bought a HUGE nice printer we could all worship and gather around for religious ceremonies.

There's a thread in the "mentor" section that another guy started so "soon to graduate" seniors could post and critique. He started it as a request for me to find a mentor, then when I had trouble he offered it up as a "peer critique" (but he's like way better than me). I think his plate is pretty full, you should stop by and start doing some shit on there too. Get some more people into this... It's really not often we get together and do any kind of artwork, so we can just post it .

Franklin Terrace is back, but no studios.

Nice images. Some of your colors are a bit over-saturated, if you ask me. That's okay- way easier to fix than the other side of the spectrum.

Nice color in post 164 near the bottom though- in my honest opinion.

    Hey Sublimus!

Nice updates! I haven't seen a lot of these...must notta put them on PA:AC.

You need to get to color studying. There's a lot of saturated colors going on and you need to tone it down i think.

Other than that...still love your pencils and your scribbles.

    Good Job!

Your analouge stuff is incredible. You show some great style. You should try getting as comfortable with your drawing pad as with pencil and paper though (This ain't easy, having huge problems with it myself). Your room-studies are kick-ass!

Please, have a look at my sketchbook and let me know what you think. Would greatly appreciate your crits.
