    new stuff (update 19.09 )

    grüatzi mitanond

well I did this piece for the Blizzard Art Contest; sure you can imagine how surprised I was when I realized that my country is not allowed to submit something...just when I wanted to upload it

it shows a young bloodelf gal trying out her new sword on a wormies head
well hope you like it, critics welcome

here`s a second pic I did for the contest, now this will become a character of a pen and paper rpg a friend and I are going to create

the giant bird is for an upcoming rpg, called DISSONANCE ( Marco posted some characters for the game long time ago ), for which I did some creature designs

my only crit is at that angle (of her head) you'd be able to see her other ear
aside from that, awesome piece. too bad you couldn't enter it.

That sucks (your predicament, the pic is very nice )

You couldn't get one of your friends form another country to enter it, whilst you taketh the credit?

This is a solid piece. the creature is superb.
    Great job, bud.
and what is this "country not allowed" crap, btw?
is geography an issue with artwork/artists in Blizzard?
that`s silly....where are you from? and why isn`t your country a legit
    country according to Blizzard?

    thx for the replies

@ chuck mate: well I really have no idea why there is this country restriction, tried to find an answer yesterday but no chance
I`m from Austria...so I thought I should send it under "Australia", most people don`t get the difference

@Hookswords: yeah more gore is always better muahaha...but I just wasn`t to sure about the juice splashing around

Great piece! I love the creature's face and the movement of the elf. One crit would be that the blood-stream is a little to soft and comes across as more of a vapor than a liquid.

    edit:nevermind

    well, shit.
Austria isn`t allowed in Blizzard`s competitions?
what`s next? Age restrictions? Race ? Color of skin? Religion? Gender bias?
i really can`t see why any willing artist (no matter where he`s from..) shouldn`t be able to take part in an ART competition.
    that`s weird....

the text from the blizz-page...Quebec I`m feeling with you
at least it was a good practice doing this piece
