Nice figure drawings, dude. Looks like you're trying out that Watts Atelier/Frank Reilly style of figure drawing.

I second what JakehC saidXD by the way, how long do you spend doing studies? What makes you say this ones done? Was just wondering, I usually do different time limits for studies, but my main problem is in rendering, or blending in general. I guess I should take some time and finish a few lol.

very beautiful stuff. the eyes on the pencil sketches sometimes are a bit big. is that deliberate?

p-sage - thank you man, always cool having you here

ashess- thanks. honestly I think this is more my fetish for big beautiful eyes for some reason I always end up choosing to draw girls with really large eyes hahaha well maybe I am getting it wrong nevertheless but I like to think that its the fault of the kind of reference I choose

spellsword- thank you man yea nothing is more fun than drawing beautiful girls

Hey Meteorcat, well it really depends, actually I don't use any reference at all in my personal work. The exception in this piece is her hand for which I took a shitty cellphoneshot of my own hand. But usually I try to have everything covered by doing studies before I even start a piece so that I don't need to pull up any photos for the actual painting But if it happens that I do need a photo I just use them as I go really no specific time in the process

Damn it man! I love your updates on facebook! Your work is absolutely amazing.
Is that charcoal or graphite you're using for the portrait studies? They look so damn alive ^^. I love the texture that you get with the pencil work.

Excuse my amateur question, but I just don't understand. How you are so good with lighting? How do you light your scene so realistically and convincingly?

This last piece is amazing by the way

    uiriamu- thanks

mrkolsyrad - thanks man I use 0.3mm mechanical pencils for those !

    lewiston - thank youuu

meteorcat - thanks man ugh hard question really I just try to think about the form of the thing I'm painting and try to keep the lighting consistent throughout the entire picture. painting from photos and from life really helps getting a feeling for that

aaand some more stuff, this time some "pure" character conceptart, huge huge fun
