Well, congratulations Cristof on the Deathline goals! Seems you really made some big changes, and your work has gone up in quality quite a bit.
Hope you're finding your smaller apartment fun and that it's an easy place to stay and draw/work.
Looking forward to the next big year for you and where your art goes.
p sage- thanks man yepp I'm looking forward to that too
meteorcat. thank you very much
flaskpost- hey thanks man!! Yepp I actually tried to paint it like an actual oilpainting, so the red underpainting is really there, not just fake. Really cool handling stuff like that like a traditional medium
Hey guys. so here is a little update with some pencils and some more digital experimenting forcing myself out of that nasty comfortzone!
Sooooo the thing is that I would update this sb with my daily sketches on a daily basis iiiiiiif I wasn't such a lazy piece of shit, so I will update this thread once a week from now on. I will, however post my daily stuff on my facebook as I finish it (taking a photo with my phone and updating it right away is just so much cooler than this forumstuff).
SOO if you do want to see daily updates and some more blah blah please feel free to friend me on facebook riiiiight here: https://www.facebook.com/christof.grobelski
yepp thats all for now. seee ya

yemi- thanks dude
Meteorcat- thank you
Sooooooo for a start to get back to pencildrawing again I drew most of the stuff from reference just to get used to it again. So now it's time to push things further and get some drawing from imagination going. so there we go sorry for the rather bad shots, I think I might have to get a scanner afterall
flaskpost. yea time to jump on the improvement bandwagon again. Nope not fulttime freelance yet but it'S so cloooooose
Meteorcat- haha feel free to visit as much as you want
sooooooo little update with the usual speedpaint and one sketchbookpage. Sticking to working from my mind, and boooooooooy those pencils right here are CRAZY bad, but hey it's a starting point and I know where I want to go with these so I'm well on ym way I guess
yepp those pencils are completely off. getting those proportions right with this kind of foreshortening is incredibly hard for me right now, which is just awesome, soooo much to learn, I love it
You got it all going on here, especially your most recent posts. I really enjoy seeing all those tight pencil studies in combination with your more painterly digitals. Light and shadow for emotional drama is something I pick up very strongly in your work. Looking forward to seeing more. Good going.
What's taters precious? Po - tay - toes!

hellouuu people. Soooo I dug out that crazy old scanner I had somewhere in the basement for years now because I believed that I could not make it work with windows 7 buuuuuuuuuut as it turned out I did work after fighting with it for a bit. So yay for that and here we go with some more pages. I will try to actually paint something to put in here but to be honest, drawing in my sketchbook is pretty much everything I want to do right now
whoops been quite busy with work last week but noooooow there's time for fun again so another sb sketchy and a pixelquickie
Jesus man - fantastic stuff - Always enjoy your digitals but really loving your sketches - rock solid!
Thanks for sharing!!!
