Still looking great. Still really liking your drawing style - the simple figure work is really fun to look at. I can't come up with any critiques right now, sadly...

you have some nice stuff going on. i'm very interested in your oil painting work. its a damn hard medium to master. well for me anyway. you seem to have a good grasp of how to utilise it no matter how crude your photos may be its some good stuff. oil paint can be damn frustrating with being a slow drying medium. great stuff. keep it up!

Uh damn it, tomorrow I am leaving to Berlin to show my portfolio to an artschool I applied to. If everything goes well they will let me stay to go throug their application-tests during the whole next week. I am fucking excited, since I have worked on my skills and my portfolio real hard in the last months and now its up to a few people to decide if I am worthy studying fineart at their school.
Moreover I will be able to see some bigass artwork at berlin's national gallery. Actually I do not know what I am more excited about

heres a tinyass update before I leave, I guess it's better than nothing

Hey, good luck on the application, which school are you applying too ?
I'm sure you'll get in, as wanimal put it: You really are an artist

I would invite you to come to the sketch group in berlin, but, as there isn't one, I can't : <

hey man! Thank you, I am applying at the weißensee kunsthochschule. I ve been locking around for a sketchmeet, but couldn't find anything either. Depending on the amount of time I will have in Berlin I want to perticipate in some figuredrawing classes. Berlin seems to have many offers to go to a "one evening" session. Much cooler than having to sign up for an entire year or so as it is usual at our volkshochschulen.

Weissensee hmm, I take it you speak German then?

Funnily enough I actually just exmatriculated from the UDK, had been there 2 years and, apart from being too young when it started (17), I just don't think studying painting/ drawing at universities is the way to go, it was very interesting, and i learned to think a ton of different ways, but I wanted to learn techniques. So now I'm studying animation and going to workshops at places to really learn the methods of the masters.

I guess this had more to do with me and my preconceptions than the actual course.

All that being said, I hope Weissensee is what you're looking for and it goes well if you get accepted, if not, I can only hope that it isn't!

If you're up for it, let's go to a figure drawing class/ session together?
I kinda suck in comparison to you but I'm sure it'd be fun nonetheless ;D

    Last post, very nice.
The lines are very good and that watercolor thing you just did is great.
I really like your paintings too, they are very fresh to say the least.
