U have alot of great ideas!! I can see in your work that u are playing with shapes and forms to create unique creatures. It's a great way to express your fantasy... U only should try to generate the whole figure first, before starting to play with shapes and interesting forms. A good advice i can give u is to draw the silhouettes of the figures first (whole the figure; legs, feets, head) and then carve in the forms. It will help u to get more interesting shapes and make your creature more complete (it will fit better)
I can see that u have some really great ideas (i love the design of the head of the horse/dragon thing in the second picture) Since i assume these are 3D moddel character sheets...background is not needed? Altough a minor indication of an object in the back would prolly help u with the lightning...I'm refering to your last image here. he is kind of disapearing in the black whole of none inspiration background... Maybe it would be better if u just left the background white. That way you could focus more on the lightning on the creature and on his shape. But don't let me sound negative, u did a great job and it's clearly a creature that HAS to be walking (at least if u draw his legs and feets :p) around in some video game...u did great - love the detail on it. Btw u can post your 3D moddels here too u know! I would love too c them!!!!

Keep up the good work and best regards, Kir

Wow, this is really brilliant! I really love the colors...I would truly like too see these artpieces in motion. I didn't noticed the fishes at first, but i am sure they will stand out once in motion...

My only minor crit would be that these pieces seems more like images out of a dream then images out of real life. But then again this is why i like these alot.
If u would wish to achieve reallity u would probably have to use reflection on the water...but i guess that reflections would make the images to heavy to render? I know how rendering water can delay the render time...:'(
I was also wondering if the stalks of the leaves are gonna fade out softly in the water? or are they gonna stop suddenly in the water? (like it is now?) I think that when in motion they would probably look like if they are floating a bit on the water (not attached to the soil) So making them fade out softly into the deep of the water would probably help?

Are these the final images? I hope to hear more from u...i'm really curious to view the final result! This is really good...
I hope u can also show the serenity and mood in the animation of the fishes, ripples in the water, and movement of the leaves...

I hope u understood what i typed...If u did not, just keep up doing this good work, this is truly brilliant! What is the story about?

    Again best regards! Kir...

    oh ! hallo kir ,,
at first i must say thank for u come here again, and attention my works ..
here i must tell u this ,,, i do this because i give expresstion to chinese traditon paint ,this is exceptional painting format.it have a long time history in china,is differ from custom painting , there is no shadow reflection and refraction ..even no ture scenography . sometiom them
    like the cortoon material
so look like it is out of real life..

just use the brush pen and paper to draw... i show this pho is my text work ,
achieve chinese tradition paint by the 3d...
and there are not full story script in this short flim .just show some scene and
    fish swim ..

and the last pho is the real chinese tradition paint by the brush pen and paper... is not my work... hehe !
and i have the anather 3d's work , but i can nt show here , i think it is too immature.. too old works ,,, if u want to see i will send it to u mail...
    thanks for ur suggest/

Hey Sam, I PM'ed u about your last post. I absolutely love the 3D/traditional stuff ur making. It will be pretty hard to create that traditional chinese stuff with 3D software. (it s so completely different) But if u could pull it off, then im sure your anim.film will be great! The fish look GREAT!!!! From what i can s on the pictures they are pretty detailed...How much polys did u use for one fish?? I also love the background color and the chinese signs.

I hope u can find a nice song to let u tell the "story"/show the scenes. I wish u the best of luck. U may always PM me or email me when u need advice.

K and now i gotto run or im gonna b too late

You sure know how to create some hideous looking creatures.
I feel emotion from these monsters when I look at the pictures.
Overall the artwork is really good and gets the point across through your composition of colors. I would love to see you put some effort into creating a painting that accentuates beauty, although this may be something far removed from your career objectives. If you convey such emotions and expression with compositions that are scary and ugly, I feel you may have the same potential for creating exceptionally beautiful images. Overall, very good artwork.
