Yeah whe should do that ! I know Jens tried for a long time to get a sketchgroup rolling.. it really isnt that easy as it seems.. .. thought i'm doing this small group exhibition in bxxl with Frontforyou(antwerpen), but yeah, we should get this thing to the lounge and i'll be more then happy to start a sketchgroup only if you guys want it too ? what would be the best place for everybody ? Bxxl, anvers or gent ? I'll take this to Belgium in lounge..hope to see you all there
if you want you can come to hasselt, all those paintings are there at the moment, those big ones are about +-1,5-1m... so kinda not practical to get them with me on the trein
Anyways happy that there are people in belgium who are still active on CA !

Hogeschool sounds like Highschool and therefor gets mixed up a lot; hogeschool is actually a form of higher education

Im not so familiar with all the highschools in Belgium... As far as i know Gent works verry traditional and is known for it s conservatism.
They tend to reach back to traditional media and try to avoid new media like PC and stuff...
Could be that i'm wrong, but thats what i ve heard (at least for the animation department)
Anyway i like your paintings, especially the second one with the hands...simple yet effective. Do these concern a theme or are they just random limbs, painted on canvas? It's hard to make out...seems that there is a lot of expression in them,...The teddy reminds me of a madman whose painting his youthtraumas ...i like it tough
The female face in the first picture looks the most sereen of them all and stands a bit out of the rest imo...

Anyway good to c u keeping it loose,
Let it go with the flow!

Veele groetjes en tot volgende post :>

It's nice to see more Belgians popping up here at CA once in a while( not referring to you Eew )

good luck with your study man.
I would suggest though, too keep studying the basics on your own ( anatomy,
value, color, composition, form, different traditional materials and so and so
    on.. )

I doubt 'het kask' will allways provide the most suitable environment for that...
( then again times could have changed )
Nevertheless, your education is definately what YOU make of it !

    Good luck on your journey
