yes yes more more. more real stuff, sketchbook stuff. you're so damn talented. your figures have flesh and muscles on their bones. I like the foreshortened strangler's leg/foot, and the way it juts out. if you find any more life drawing classes in the area let me know about them, I might be returning at the end of august, and i'll die if I don't have access to a model.
sudsz- there is the class at union year round, not sure if you'd be interested. should be about the same distance for you as sage.
done in artgrounds.com sketcher tonight.
some more sketches
I really like the way you use colour, but like me sometime your anatomy is a little off. Though its still a lot better than mine.
Keep it up
preheat the oven to 400
pop it in for 20 min and it's done. but those are not the directions that they followed. ..I wonder if it will still come out good.
more of the same
Birdman's feet were his most noble feature. Why did you amputate them?
if you look close, you'll notice he got an extension. though I could copy and paste his old ones on for you... such is the magic of digi.
look ma, no hands
The back study is very beautiful.
edit: seems like a relatively quick sketch, and as such it is a bit messy.. do you remember how long you worked on that? 5-10 minutes? 15? I'm curious to see what you would produce if you took more time to establish the form..

Love your style, its so unique. Really like your sketches too.
I have a sketch from a year ago with pen that looks ok. I have some others I've done in the past few days with a blue pen. I've been looking all over for a black one, but can't find here
are some new sketches
and some digi
** these were done in erasable sharpie, its kind of like pen, but not really
you should try silverpoint, I think you'd like it. just get a piece of silver jeweller's wire and stick it in a mechanical pencil, draw on a gessoed surface. voila. feels like the renaissance.
edit: also it tarnishes and turns brown over time. cool.
sudsz, I will look into it
I like that he's wearing a messenger bag
freed him up a bit
man with an arrow standing in greenery
Feed me artwork i'm starving
when I am creating art/looking at my art.. I see it as a reminder of my existence... I feel the participant rather than the sequestered observer
while looking at a photo:
you are the
cat around! lol, HA! coolest
