    Ryan: Hopefully it works out

Silvestri99: Likewise, let's drink together, and draw the night away!

Beelow: Thanks bro, good to hear from you again!!

Here is some more stuff. Color to be added soon. Trying to stay away from the typical human characters.

Nice sketchiness Loren. You're improving faster than a fast thing with speed boosters. Love the Monkey man. Nothing to crit really, since you kick my ass all over the park.

Justin - Yeah, Myself, Romance, CFox and Danomight were in a small blurb together. I have'nt actually seen which issue though.

bradley - thanks for sending me the article. I appreciate the time.

    enthombed - Thank you!

Here's a little piece I'm working on. Ramona is diving over a group of the infected to attack some beasts they have on chains. Sketch and some progress. Crits / paintovers are more than welcome

hey man, been a little while; great work! you're moving along nicely I really like this recent wip, nice dynamic pose and her facial expression lends itself to the action well. only real crit I can think of is on her axe; seems like when you painted in the head of the axe, the edge got longer. kinda flattened it and through off the foreshortening you had going on in the sketch.

hope I could help a little; keep it up!

IMO her skin could use some higher contrast, and you might want to change the color of the sky to something more dark blue or cyan or something to bring out Ramona more. As is, the sky sort of kind of matches her skin tone.

    Good luck!

Hey Interceptor long time no see .

Ramona with an axe: I personally think it looks pretty right, the composition, the anatomy and the angle you chose all seem to fall in place. What I would suggest is to add more dramatic elements to emphasis the action. Exaggerate her expression more (wrinkles between eyebrows, maybe make her eyes appear to be half-squinting to make her look just a tad more focused on killing) would help convey the intensity of her battle. Also you might try adding some "flowy" elements to her clothes just for this image. Something that floats in the air to enhance the feeling that she's in the middle of a motion. Like maybe ribbons on her axe, or scarfs?

Btw, is that a head flying at top left?

Apart from that I'd just echo what was said by others and suggest you to increase the contrast of your colors. I personally think the contrast you tend to have is enough (unlike mine, which is really flat by comparison ), but with some images I feel they can benefit from another level highlight and harder focus.

Hope that helps in anyway. Looking forward to updates.

Onir - I'll give that some re-working Perspective and I are'nt on speaking terms, it seems.

Tom - Thanks man! I have to study your thread, and absorb all that knowledge of color and lighting you have. I'll be seeing you soon.

    j a k e - d00d, I appreciate that!! It's ncie to hear coming from you. We gotta grab a drink!

wkazou - heheh, thanks, bro Hope all is well with you.

Justin - It does blend quite a bit, does'nt it? This color thing is new to me, so it's hard for me to plan from the start, but y'all are helping me out a ton. I appreciate your crits all the time, please don't stop.

JERI - wow, thanks for taking the time to write that. and it HAS been too long since I've spoke with you. I've always done these boring drawings of girls just standing there, trying to get into the rythm of mroe interesting illustrations, so your suggestions are a huge benefit to me. I can't thank you enough for helping me out. Oh, I love the girls you draw

This is beautiful, your character work is really coming along nicely. Couple of crits, at the moment your paintings seem to be relying on linework a lot and no leting the values in the hues describe the forms. That last one feels like a step in the right direction now it just needs to be refined.

Also the axehead looks a little out of perspective for the angle of the swing, heres a paintover hope you dont mind.

Holy Crap dood! You've been busy today! Lighting on this last one is really good! Same on the vampire!

Careful using the same color rimlighting on different materials - makes them seem like the same material you know? Cheers dude!

Personally I don't care for the arm coming across her body in the color version, perhaps have it holding some other weapon/sheild or something instead?

The lines look awesome, though her feet perhaps would be more "feminine" if they were a bit smaller too.

Keep drawing man, it's all really comin along. Did you apply for tha ConceptArtelier yet?
