Chuck-E Tutorial + New head Drawing TUT.

i really don`t know if it`s o.k. posting this here,
    but here it is anyway.
(you admins` may move it to its appropriate place, and that`ll be o.k. and appreciated.)

just posted this in my Sketchbook threads, but since i figured most of you
don`t go there, i`d share it here too.
this is my work process, demonstrated on a head.(how convenient, Patri !..)
i tried keeping the explanations as simple as possible, though the actual working process is a bit more tedious than what you`ll see here.
hope this`ll help those who was wondering,
and those who didn`t give a flying **** - well... hope it`ll be of some service to you too.
    enjoy.

I'm a fan of one layer painting (not literally) but this is a cool aproach, gotta try it sometimes. Thanks for the trouble & sharing!

Hey Chuck. I'm trying your recipe. And I have a couple of questions. "Now the fun begins"... is it really solid white you use?

And the opacity settings... is it always around 25%...?

I think I'm doing something wrong. Its coming out a little odd. Its sort of working. I can see how it should work, but I'm not getting as much value range in the darker tones...

And how much of the blur do you use?

I'm experimenting a bit, but its hard for me to guess some of this, because I understand getting some of the early steps into a certain range feeds the next step...

I'm gonna keep trying it though. I like how it speeds up the early steps and lets you focus more time on the details...

Thanks for sharing this Chuck, looks like a nice way to block things in quickly! Going to try it out a little later.
