    Macar

I've been in love with CA for a long time and I finaly got up the courage to register. I'm a very average artist, but art brings me joy. I especialy like concept art because it's part of a larger project- I like to play with others

So, here's some of my stuff. I draw and dabble in photoshop. I dont have any training or anything, so if you can teach me things, please do.

PS> I host on imageshack, what do cool art people use?

    Hello Macar,
If you want to bump your sketchbook, then post more art in it.

What are your goals with your art? It's easier to give feedback when I know what you want to get out of it.
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.

Perspective 101, Concept Art 101, Games Industry info,Oil Paint info, Acrylic Paint info, my sketchbook.

Ah, thanks for the advice, seedling. I read the rules now... oops.

As for what I want, I just want to continue improving- since I have no career aspirations it's not essential- just fun. Two main areas I generaly focus on are anatomy (quite challenging for me) and texture- making something that looks touchable.

here's some more sketches (I have a back log of these)

Sounds like you’ve got some good goals.

Have you ever taken a life-drawing course or open studio? Even if you have no professional ambitions, since you are so interested in anatomy you would probably enjoy the experience.

Thanks for the comment, seedling. No, I havent taken classes of any discription- especialy one where I'd get to work from life. I'd like to, but I dont really have the time or money to do so. I'm revisiting a book on anatomy though, (that's where those drawings came from).

Anyway, here's today's product- I got some new tortillions and an kneaded eraser- couldnt wait to try them

My work outside of those sites amounts to 2 or 3 peices

We should make a group on here and support eachother's sketchbooks.
