I think it's pretty decent rendering. The surface on which the mouse is laying is blurry towards the right. I also think you might want to consider smoothing out the surface of the mouse, to give it a rounder, mor slick feel.

Wellcome Bobbo. the way you have renderd the surface makes it look like there is a pile of highlights ontop of the mouse. You might want to get rid of those highlights. Start by taking the highlights and consolidating them were they are consolidated and diffuse them were they are diffused. I can guess that the mouse is shiny and is refflecting light from a strong white light, There is also light being reflected from the surfface that the mouse is on. So there would be a yellow light illuminating the sides of the mouse. be direct with a strong highlight and place that color down that represents the color of the mouse combined with the color of the light. Don't dab white with the oppacity low untill it gets lighter in the center of the area of the highlight. If you do do that take care to do it in a way that applies to the contors of the objects surface.

The area where the mouse is sitting looks more rounded than flat.
I agree with need a to smooth out the serface of the mouse as well.
I like the textures colors used.
