    Russians and Vodka

This is most likely the most stoned guy I've ever seen, hillarious! I just keep watching him and everytime I laugh my ass off. Sorry if this is old

He is not stoned. It is a miner, he talks that he got his salary in March last time, it was his salary for November month of the last year. I would way it is May in film, according to his clothes. Regular guy. Miners work is very risky and still very hard, and they look older and sicker in earlier age. He said he has no hope, reporters maybe the last hope for him.
And come on, Russian and vodka. Generalisation, even now..

Thanks for translation! Do you read lips too, so you can tell us what's that guy in background saying

Sorry for generalisation, I just couldn't think of a name for the thread

Guy on background is drunk, repeats some words, November, for example. The guy who talks is not drunk, he is just not very educated guy in general, probably not very bright too and sick from breathing this coal dust all day long, crawling on their stomach like moles. He might be slightly drunk, but might be not, his talk is clear. He does this eye motion, it quite normal, pretty fast. Coordination is normal too.. He just has trouble to remember when it was, his last salary. Really, regular guy, blue collar. Reporters would have not chosen him for interview be he totally wasted, not solid material for report.
Russian is my first language. I can lip read Russian too probably, a bit.
Don't apologize, just don't do it. it is boring.

sve, look, I'm aware that the guy in front is sober and is giving an interview, it was never about him, just about that guy that pops out in the middle of the hole scene, that's supposed to be funny. I'm also aware of social problems becouse I come from a simmilar country that's 10x more fu***d up than russia.
    so chill.

hehe. Internet advantages... I'm calm. What's to be agitated about?
And he is not the most stoned guy, I've seen worse.

Agree, . I admit. I didn't notice the guy in the BG at first, so I didn't understand why it is funny. He is funny. I'm sorry, guys, for being too serious.

when I saw Russians and vodka...and miners...I thought of Luc Delahay's book - Winterreise..

    http://www.digitaljournalist.org/iss.../richards.html

small book... but really packs a puch - very powerful photos of mining families and life (if you want to call it that) in the vast cold landscape of Russia...

Rascar, listen, not everything in Russia looks like that! There are poor regions everywhere (*even in the USA*), so, please, don't associate Russians only with that!

Ive, the video is killing me!!! I just can't stop laughing about it!!! I couldn't even recognize what the guy is saying, before I saw it for the 6-th time - I just couldn't pay attention to him!(my first language is also Russian). I hope you don't have anything against me spreading the video further? *giggling*
