thanks alot for your comment on gaia! appreciate it very much! I know I should draw more the things I see, instead of the ones I imagine ...
Now to your pictures. I am very intrigued by your sketchbook! it is great and very alive! on the last two pages I notice that you put always a main focus in the picture, which you also work out very nicely detailed. the rest is mostly very unfocused. actually very good, but it often seems as if you haven't no more desire to work out those parts in detail too...so the "unfocussed" is not the problem, rather the "I'm bored to finish that piece..." you know what I mean? I know that by myself, I often get bored to work so many hours on one piece to get it finished...:p
however, you have a beautiful, continuous style. I like the creatures and characters that you show here. especially the white dragon in post # 191! strong texture and cool pose! ^^ I'd like to see that piece finished!
keep that good work,
wow I like you art especially the last update , it really colourful and full of movement. go ahead of doing nice designs. i believe that you will make an animation movie some day!!!

Jakers- Yeah I was thinking that, bird was afterthought. I was trying to resolve blue highlights on side of face, which was a mistake on my part. Didn't plan well enough, I guess. Yeah I kept it kinda loose on the portrait. I was mainly interested in minimizing my strokes, which I ended up overdoing anyways. Still learning though. Thanks for dropping by as always. I am always interested in your thoughts.
InFlame- Yeah, I tend to run outta steam when I overwork a piece. Usually it is bad comp that I adjust way too much and it ends up being terrible. That is one some of the unfinished ones. Other images that are more complete, I do leave areas of unimportance a less detailed with looser edges and things of that nature. Yeah, I may return to the dragon piece, but right now it is on the backburner, because I don't really like it because of poor composition. Thanks for stopping by. And, your welcome. Glad my crits help.
qlotzan- Maybe...I am more interested in just drawing and painting right now. I am about to move back into doing 3d. Been away from it for a long time. I wanted to get good at drawing and painting first then move back into 3d. I think it is about that time. Thanks for the compliment.I like those as well as crits.
Vatsel- Thanks, glad you like them. Stop by anytime.
Parsakoira- Stars don't really matter, although that would make me happy to see that my work is that good. I don't mind. I think it is more important that I grow and enjoy doing it. Thanks though, I'll take that. Still have to leave some words in your book. Your work is good! Hope to see you drop by more often.
I apologize for the lack of updates. Here is some work that I have posted on my blog. A few photo studies, one from Danny K's stash, one from life, a model I sculpted in Scuptrix(which is an awesome program) and other stuff that I've done. Couple finished and the rest not so finished, which most were for Chow, that I never seem to finish before the deadline. Hope you enjoy.
amazing work what did you use for the highlights in your perspective/buildings studies?
Hey man, that guy with the wings is awesome. I´ll always check your sketchbook.

kingkostas-Thanks man. One of these days I will turn in a chow on time, LOL.
andres333- Which ones? Are you talking about the toned paper ones?
Luk999-Thanks. I will try my best to keep posting.
Jonathan C- LOL, I encourage it. Thanks for visiting my book.
Here are a couple paints that I want to show. One was for Chow and the other for Kuip's pin-up calender thingy that him and some others have going on. As always crits are welcome.
ridunkulous 4 stars only?! (not that i get caught up in all that shizz) but been a fan of ur SB in the past and so much coo design and quality, here's a high five'r! luv the comp in that last chow!
mate great work with the last work.I like very much your rendering and design. The only thing i found that needs improvement is anatomy.
I like everything else.Do u have any progress shots of this last illustration?
Also man thnx very much for the great paintover!!!its really helpfull and i appreaciate it
Hey awesome stuff man!Your colors and rendering are top!Just train some more anatomy and u ll be one of the best!
Cool stuff Beelow! I like how you use colors.
The second character from post #216 is a bit out of balance, his left leg is a bit much infront of him I guess. It could be that his feet are tiny. I hope you have heart to fix it. Its a really great design.
I really like the shapes you are working with in that crucafix concept. Something about the body looks a little disjointed in a way but there is just something about the way you handle solid mineral objects that gets my blood flowing. Like the staff on the next sketch that seems like oldschool victorian leaf and vine. Very cool.
Read some of your crits in other sketchbooks, good info you were givin out.
Definately gunna keep an eye out on your shit now.
Just have fun.
snootchy- Thanks snootchy. I'll take that.
kingkostas-Yeah definitely need improvement in that area mainly the knowing how the muscles flow; sometimes I forget. Gotta do some studies to get that area worked out. Thanks and sorry for the lateness of my process shots. Been busy with doing Pow Wow and helping my uncle with performances. It's Native American month, so it's been pretty busy. Also, been helping with cooking Navajo Tacos. Gotta love that frybread. There you go and your welcome. Glad I helped out a bit. And, if you need me to explain my thoughts throughout the process, let me know mang. I think its pretty much self explanatory. Nothing really special about my process.
Cameli- Thanks for the support man, I will get on it.
B-Man- I'll get around to fixing it. I intended the feet to be a bit small. I wanted to play with the design a bit and do something different. I will get him balanced. I think I see the problem and should be an easy fix, I hope, LOL.
raminafshari- Yeah, I am trying to break the habit of doing the same lighting. Thanks I am glad it reads well.
Justyna- Thanks, yeah I am trying to get back into doing environments. I usually get burnt out. I mess up on the compos most of the time because I abandon what I usually initially sketched. Thanks though, I am glad you like them.
batcustard- Yeah, I know its not perfect, but, I usually just move on and fix what I was having a problem with later on, I usually see it later on after I have not looked at if for a while. Thanks though. I try my best to get materials right.
Aveh- Thanks! Glad to see new fans come aboard. It keeps me going when I see other enjoy my art. I try my best to advise people. I make the same silly mistakes all of the time. I hit myself with newspapers sometimes, LOL, jk.
cgaddict-Thanks for dropping by! Any advice or crits later on down the road I will take buddy. Thanks for the praise, keep up the good work and studies and drop by anytime.
Hey, the kings grip seems a bit fake, the right arm one, doesn't convince that he is holding a fucking heavy, skull smashing axe, more like a light broom or sth like that and the upper arm seems a bit too tiny, compared to the forehand. But I like it a lot the fat dworfs with axes and maces are always fun for me to watch hehe.
Justas-I started to fix one hand, just fix the other. I gotta finish that one, haven't gotten around to it to put the icing on the cake. Thanks for the input, I've aready got the word about his grip. Thanks again, gotta get it right, now.
awsome study mate i'm with your idea that you have to do more study about 3d that will support your art work.

Wanted to stop by and thank you for all the help and comments you have been giving me in my sb. I hope that we can continue to talk and trade ideas in the future. i have alot to learn and would love to continue to have feedback in the future.
I've checked your SB, and I can see that there were quite big time gap in your process. I don't know what you've done in that moment, probably ate painting steroids, but your recent works are freaking amazing! It's flawless character rendering! Keep going mate. And hey, good luck on the DomWar5.
qlotzan-Yeah, I am trying to move into it. I still have yet to finish that model off. In time I will be finished.
Genius_Malignus-Thanks! Glad that you've stopped through.
kingkostas- Yeah, it is always like that when seeing others work. I am always interested. I think the philosophy is really great to hear as well. Thanks, for dropping by again.
DANKA-Thanks for dropping by! I love what you are doing in your book as well. I am glad that dwarf guy is getting mad appeal. XD
lolbbq- No problem. Good luck with the illustration. I will be looking forward to see how it develops. And, thanks for dropping by my book.
Seraph Fawkes- Yeah, been busy with life that is all during that time gap. I was working on getting better and at the time I was taking on freelance gigs. I have some time nowadays. I am just at it again trying to up my skillz. Thanks for dropping by and the same to you sir. Looking foward to see what you are going to do for DW5 as well. I see you've joined the Gameartisans team. Good choice my friend, LOL!
Too keep everyone interested, I did a SP. Was for Nov 1 but never got around to finishing it until recently. I hope you like! More art stuff to come! XD
