Holy crap Bryce, it's been way too long since I last looked at your work, and jeebus, you've taken an astronomical leap towards greatness! Loving those character thumbs, and your colour and perspective work in general. The two tone environment you did back in the early posts was cracking, and your figure work is getting fab, love the colour variation in those last few posts.

    Cracking stuff.

dude, u got potential. But you should try and get your basics toghether like.. basic construction using volumes and simetry axis, and try to do moooore sketches in the old masters style..it will help u achieve a more artisty look, and will keep you away from a kitsch look. I guess one of your best works is that grayscale portrait of a woman with eyes closed.
cheers, mate! and draw draw draw

zephyri- Thanx Sammy sam. Yeah, I am experimenting with everything right now, especially digitally. I am still not comfortable with where I am with my works, I don't think I will ever be. Yeah it has been a while. Thanks for dropping by.

MilesNoctis- Thanks, I am glad that you enjoy my work.

Jens- not as cool as yours. Thanks for dropping by.

Alien Ape Star- Hahaha. Thanks for the comment. I will try to do more studies. I am lacking in doing those.

staaron- which one? Thanks for dropping by. XD

I will put some more sketches in this bitch soon. I have to reformat my computer. Sorry for the delays. Peace out and stay tuned.

You set yourself a big task on the last picture, its good work. Maybe in some areas there are light-source issues, like the guy up front has major light on his face, I think it should be toned down or everything else brightened. Your intension are clear, but the execution seemed to overpowered you and you have rushed in many areas.

It's only my opinion so don't think of it to be important.

Intentionally making a smaller (not in canvas scale), well executed picture would benefit you much greater.

hey beelow! that would be rad if you had a piece in the show too! too bad you can't make it kind of a busy day though. mike seems like a cool guy, i haven't really hung out with him but his artwork (and his wife's too for that matter!) is pretty cool!

Ho..ly.. **** ---You sir, have blown my mind straight out. I believe I said "Wow" (like keanu reaves) inside my head about 127 times. Your environments are my favorite because theyre all so damn imaginative. But everything here is just breath-taking--what I'm most impressed with though, is your vast range of styles.

Keep it up, I'm looking forward to more.

Crits, Advice, and Feedback always appreciated.

What's up Beelow! Glad to your your back in STL, man. Even if it is under kinda shit circumstances. I haven't checked out your thread in a long time either. But you've really been blowin' it up, man! The paints are fantastic! You should try and vary up how you're rendering stuff a bit. Sometimes it all seems to be brought to the same level finish. But for the most part it's great. You're gettin' good with the color. Hopefully we'll be able to hook up soon for some sketch time. Where are you staying? I'm going to busting it off on my portfolio again but things should be slowing up here for me real soon assuming I don't find work. I'm looking forward to seeing that book cover, man. Keep at it.

EDIT: I just realized how old some of this stuff is! You must be killin' now, man! Ha!
