    wrong color settings?

hey dudes, a silly question for you but I really need your help, so here we go:

yesterday I wanted to print out a picture in photoshop, so I scanned the original, tweaked the color, saved the pic and then printed it out, everything was cool. But today as I clicked into the folder, I saved the pic into and opened it in the WINDOWS PREVIEW, the green of the piece became an ugly brown, I printed it nevertheless directly from the windows preview but the colors were just as brownish as they were in the preview. So I opened the whole thing in Photoshop and for some reason the colors were fine, nice and green, I printed the picture in photoshop and the colors were good as well.

So and here comes my problem:

tomorrow I want to go with the cd including 12 pictures to a copy shop to print all of them out but now I'm kinda worried that all the copies will look like shit and I don't want to pay this big bunch of money for nothing.
So is this color problem just a problem of mine or will the guys in the copyshop will have the same problem?

Gloominati, check if the file is in CMYK or RGB mode. Maybe windows preview doesn't handle cmyk, but the print shop should be able to handle it (doesn't mean they are )

yep these were exactly my thoughts because the file is actually in cmyk but windows pretends to be able to view cmyk, but you can't trust anybody nowadays tstststs
