    updates? no way.

    Hey peeps.
Uhm. Sorry for the wait. I've been lazy/busy/etc.
My boyfriend is opening a tattoo shop/art gallery, and I'm helping him renovate. This is quite stressful as we are running out of time and money and I'm also trying to manage my mood instabilities and my art career.

I'll get to your replies tomorrow.
I haven't been drawing much lately (yeah I should fix that), most of these are pretty old.

Ohyeah my vacation kinda sucked, but hey I bought some really nice art books in Toronto

1 - omg, giant japanese demon vs. little girl

2 - sketches from the museum of natural history

    3 - ditto

4 - paint sketches for larger projects. The girl looks like a fleshy noodle.

5 - oh god, the emo.

    6 - Fishguy inspired by a toy i saw

7 - when I was in Toronto I stayed at a bed n' breakfast and the room was decorated with bunnies and sheep and "cute" little nicknacks. I had a dream that one of the bunnies came to life and started speking to me in french about the end of the world... what the fuck? I'm thinking I should make a dream journal.

8 - more sketches from the museum. ahahahaha, the tophat, ohmygod, i'm so witty.

9 - composition-planning sketches for some big projects.

These all look good. The first is my fave outta the bunch though. What size is your moleskine? I think we have the same size and I can't draw like this in mine for nothing. I feel too small and my eyes/nose/faces come out looking wonky if I don't ref it (which I'm trying to slim down). Also, the museum pieces look good, seems you captured the likeness or most of it.

Glad you're back and can't wait for more updates. Good luck with the tattoo parlor/art gallery.

Bojee: Thanks yo I'm thinking about getting into graphic novels sometime

Tom: yes I am considering painting that bitch up thanks for your support

AlexC: pshhh, 5 stars? Naahh. Thanks anyway

Stark: My moleskine is a standard 5 x 8". I totally see where you're coming from with your sketchbook size struggles. Before switching to moleskines I used 11x14" sketchbooks... huge mofos.

    BohoChaos: YEAYUH

smartkyle: Moleskines can take a lot of abuse, that's fo sho. It's always good to experiment... they are sketchbooks afterall.

Seer ( and everyone else in the sketchgroup): I am so SO sorry for neglecting you guys. SAD FACE

    dindon - heehee, thank-you

Ohhmyyygoooddd you guys ok. I'm for FR RLZ this time, ok? Sorry for the neglect, I've just been avoiding the internet altogether lately.

So here's some new stuff... mostly doodles for bigger projects. I'm back onto my weekly updates starting now.

I don't really have any comments to go with this update, except that the last one is part of a big project I'm almost finished, and the rest are mostly sketches for other big fat projects. yes.

Nice set! I like the demon girl with the long head, and the crazy fox, nice stylization. The moleskine stuff is really cool as usual. Looking forward to more!

    Hey NOMI!!

Long time no talk, sorry bout that: I'm all work these days...

So out of all your fantastic updates, this one is really really doing it for me:
    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1186310754
the texture, linework, colour and overall sensitivity is awesome, my kinda stuff. Think you can expand your tonal range to include more inbetween-tones. Other stuff is really topnotch, not much to crit at all.

I also dig the slight change of aesthetic in this last batch, there is a definitive evolution here and I like where you are heading with your illustration. You're quickly opening up something unique here, that is not derivative and donebefore. Kudos on that, it's something that I don't really have yet.

always cool coming by here and peaking into your mind.
keep doing your thing girl, !

hi,you art is great, with some james jean aspect in it but still personal, with wit and irony, i was about to write that some of your work could be part of my dream tatoo ( i'm grabing on the pieces here and there to get a clear idea of what i want) and i stumble on your work... things can be odd and funny

hope i wont flood to much by adding two link to tatoo artists really worth mentioning

FOUND YOU XD. I used to love your work at DA, didn't know I'd find you here as well (although I'm glad I did). You've got such a creative mind, it makes others look bad. lol your drawing style is amazing, and colour palette is astounding. I'd subscribe to this thread if I only knew how to. keep posting. It's pure eyecandy to the eye(?) flavoured in talent (unlike that artificial crap you see in many places with the deadbeat babies)

    Hey Bunny, how's things?

Haven't been around much lately, however, I have been checking your SB. It looks really awesome. I don't know which one of this to comment on first, so I'll just keep it simple and say I really dig them all, and I can sence progress all over.
Keep it up, I'll be waiting for updates!
