Thread: speed painting

A speed painting attempt. trying out a different approach and technique which i'm not familiar with. hope to get some help and feedback on this. ^^ might do more panels and develop a story out of it if some ideas struck me. thanks alot for viewing!

I think it's a good idea you have here, the shapes really need harder edges to give more definition of form. It looks like the panel on the left is a guy crawling through the grass, is that right? I thought at first he might be setting up his gun or taking aim, but the angles for that are way off. If you give him some more bright highlights it would help with the form thing too. I do realize he's supposed to blend in though. You should definitely make the gun shinier, because his right arm has a lot of highlights while the gun does not. I'd like to see more of these if you get to them!

Thanks for your comments, actually the perspective of the gun is heavily off haha... Will try to fix it if i have the time... Sigh... I shouldn't do it both on one layer. Really appreciate your comments!
