Nice start, dude. Really dig the Puddnhead inspired stuff - might be a good idea to push the contrast in PS a bit. Nice work

I don't go to art school or very talented, but I'm a hard worker
    That's all you need.

Oddly enough, some of the best information I picked up on character design and drawing was in animation books. It really helped speed up my process due to the tricks animators use to produce their sequences quickly. You might check your library, I know mine here in Memphis carries a ton that would also be useful in addition to videos. Sometimes reading helps sink in the info better.

The character design looks cool, contrast is king though. Don't be afraid to get into those creases and add some shadow.

Some good paintings to reference for cloth are "swagger portraits".

Looks pretty cool, although i think the katanas may be too big, looks like it would be weighing her down a bit hehe. and like lady said, more contrast would be good, it'll add some feeling.

I think something is wrong with my browser , other sites are behaving wierd too. lemme check though. hery isnt there a link to illustrations. the mouse is not clicking over it. niether on graffiti nor of fotos.Dunno man. Btw you can start posting your stuff here.Misc links are working fine too. About the design of the portfoli. The best way, I think is to keep it simple( for illustrations). But I duno much about graphic design , so cant crit much there.still the page look cool funky and all. Nice. and btw .. do post more.
