Rainz Sketch Book [Updated- 1st Nov]

After seeing so many inspiration works from this forum, I decided to make a sketchbook to help improve my skills, been drawing all my life, but always just casual hobby and only really getting more serious about it in the last couple of months.
Will be great to hear some crit and comments.
    cheers

Your studies are looking good. As for the paintings, try to use as big a brush as possible. Block in the large shapes with the midtones first and work your way down to the fine details. This will make things look smoother, as opposed to scribbling with a tiny brush to fill a huge area.

you have some nice environments there, in what size do you do them?
you might gain more depth and detail by working with larger canvases, so you can zoom in and do details after the initial rough, the way they look now is (in my opinion) rather "sketchy", a bit too loose. but you have some great stuff going and i'd really like to see more!
    best of luck.

    Thanks for stopping by guys.

cnccss: Thanks! I did them about 1000x600 pixel, but shrink them down to put on the forum. Yah, agreed its quite loose, will work on that.

Dile: Cheers, will do that in the future!

Thanks for posting in my sketchbook, I appreciate it.
I like your enviroment peices, you have your own distinctive style which is great but your people need a little bit of work, maybe continue with the life drawings like you did above (which are great) and maybe do a few Bridgeman/Loomis studies?

hey sorry ive been quite busy lately...

I like those enviroment sketches, especially the city one~~ i think the lighting works well. i kinda agree to haxxor's comment on the line quality, i guess one way arround that might be 'ghost' the line before you actually draw it...

    keep up~
