    Finished Blizzard Comp Entry: "Taurck"

ok, This guys done. I just need your help with one more thing.
Each entry is only allowed one (1) Image. Im torn over these two images,
    should I:
    a) Submit a production style presentation sheet that shows all the technical stuff. This would be good so the judges could see my flats and orthos.
b)Just submit the pretty beauty shot because they will want to put these up in a gallery or somehing.
    Here are the two pics:

and here's a link to the Large version of the Presentation sheet: large version

Nice. Looks to me like just the kind of thing Blizzard likes! I sure hope they get off that stupid WOW kick(played till I got to the level cap, then......pfft!) and give us Warcraft 4 for gods sake!

Good luck with the contest man.

A tough question. I'd probably go with the production sheet because it shows everything - answers all of their questions, if you will. If you win I have no doubt they'll want more renders for their gallery. The beauty shot is very nice though. Super great work!

Looks great! I think you should try and submit the beauty shot and at the side include a couple turn arounds and the texture maps for sure. Even if they are small they show all the work you put in to it.

The beauty shot, the judges will be experts so they will be adept at spotting its merits. The production shot, while interesting for us and for your portfolio, does not do justice to the detail of texturing. Good luck. I hope to enter too, for the 2d category.

I think Im gonna go with the Beauty shot. But now that Ive been looking at the render for a few days, I see some things I would like to add.
I actually think I'll do the thing with the beauty shot and the turnarounds on the side or at the top or bottom.
Im glad you guys like this guy, he was a blast to work on and currently my fave 3d work.

fucking badass. Did you use and photo sourcing or is this all hand painted? Not that it matters I was just curious I guess. Really love the design the weapon in particular. This screams WOW to me, I think u should win.

It isn't talent, it is honest, hard, work.
Effort, the effort that went into this competition is quite amazing.

Great to see there are a lot of such great artists out there aside from CA, makes you to set your goals higher and thus work harder.
