    Unhappy How Are my clouds?

Skies have been a big problem for me here lately. Found a pretty good tut on skies and it really helped. Let me know what ya think. I know I have a ways to go but I think I did ok for a 2 hour job

They look a little flat. Some color variation would help, as well as some softer highlights. Find some good reference for clouds to work from, and if you want to change the color adjust the levels or play with layer blending.

They look really good. but Something makes them look a bit like wave, maybe the softer lighting would help like jfwalls said or just a little piece of clear sky or rays of light.
Is that a cover for a cd or something?

What Jho said, they look abit like waves (think stormy winter ocean) I'm not sure at all what you could do about it, but the picture looks great.. jsut dosn't exactly look like clouds to me.

I think there's too much ragged grain in the edges of your shapes... makes it look like water spray rather than clouds. Try blending out the grainy highlights.

The greenish color is also adding to the ocean waves effect.

Yeah I think will have to focus moer on the stroke next time. I was so wrapped up in the form of the clouds I really didn't think about it.

    Thanks for the advise
