Hey Jakers, thanks for your suggestions !

You're right, this one week schedule might fluctuate a bit; it's more like a way to know if I'm working fast enough : for instance if in a month I've only got 2 paintings, I will start to feel bad... If I've got 6, maybe I'll take some time to polish them a bit.

About thumbs, I should definitely make some for my future illustrations.

Ok, here is my first "eye of the tiger" painting, hope you like it : it's a CD cover for a rock band.

If you've got comments or crits, tell me !

Draniel : Thanks ! I've learned tons of things about color in the last 6 months, and I'm slowly shifting my practice from randomly putting colors until it looks good to me, to really understand how to make it look good... But there's still a loooooong way to go for me

your work reminds me of a perverse dali meeting van goeth for a beer and have a crazy one night stand with the swedish bikini team.

all of the above can be interpreted as a compliment.

Ok, this monday is my first day of freelance.
Now I need to find some job. That's the hard part... But not impossible I hope

I'll call him radioactive Humphrey. But if you look closely, you can see that it's only T-800 wearing fancy dress.

I really like how your illustrations have this loose, fluid feel to them.
Also, how long did it take you to do those recent still lifes?

your pictures are thoroughly enjoyable to look at, such storytelling in each piece I've spent about 10mins on each piece just basking in it's bazzar-ness.
    Brilliant, apsolutly brilliant!

you have a creepy, demonic, and almost abstract style....BUT I LOVE IT!
i look a a picture and think "damn why didnt i think of that"
its kind of like im reading where the wild things are because some of your pics look alot like the monsters in that book
(it was my favorite book when i was a kid)

    Thanks for the comments.

What do you think of that one ? It's back to "flat colors and outlines" for me, I don't know if I should be sad or happy about it.

I was looking for some purity in the coloring, but got back to that. I really need to figure out a way to be very graphic and keep my outlines untouched without ending with flat colors. Maybe it is by having flat colors, but less "child coloring" than this one. Thoughts anyone ?

Just a few works I finished recently.

I'm not too sure about the colors of the third pic (the forest heart), it would be great if some of you had comments or crits.
