Ummm....you have that German uniform all wrong
Just kidding! I like this last WWII post. I am a tad biased though...
It might be cool to have like..the swastika carved into the Statues head ala Charles Manson! haha Or some burning buildings since he is using a Flammenwerfer?

I really like the piece you prepared for this weeks chow , I think that this will be my choice of vote ^^. But i can point out some problems the rocks that the character is standing on and the textile of his uniform don't quite look as the should be or feel . And the cigarette hand is kinda mushy , but looks nice.

Thanks for the comment and crit Giorge, I appreciate it!
Time unfortunately had the best of me on this one with the holiday weekend. I'm honestly surprised I was able to get it to where it is when it was time to post it for the finals.

Man that girl-zombie in post 217 is great man. I sorta wish she wasn't a zombie so I don't feel weird for looking at her nips!
That aside I think this is a very engaging image. It has a dynamic camera angle as well as dynamic lighting. The light on her chest just draws my eyes right across her boobies and right to her face where I get lost in her face. I get lost not only cause of the details but... she is still pretty under that? I really wonder what happened to her. He expression makes me still think she is sentient?
I mean this in a nicest way man but this one of the first images of yours in a while that I stopped and was like..."dang..." I didn't just skip over it with a "mhee.." I was really entertained and enjoyed looking at it.
So just typing that was getting me thinking. Why does this engage me more than others? I thinks because you didn't spell out the story for me? Your WWII COH image for example. I think it's not engaging to me because I already know what happened. Allies defeated, statue knocked over, all Nazi's are zombies yada yada. I know it's sorta has a different purpose and different limitations then your zombie-chick but I think the example still holds that I am not as interested. Anyways...just some rambling thoughts! Take them with a grain of salt!

I really appreciate your comments. They mean a lot to me. In concern to post 217, I can't take complete credit for that. It was done for a thread here and the actual reference was a picture of kelly x.
So, credit should be given to whomever shot that original picture, because it was their eye that captured that angle and moment, not mine. I should have included a link in that initial post to the reference. The original picture and moment that was captured is really what's interesting. Not so much what I did with it.

Wonderful SB! I love your renderings, they look so damn perfect But what I love even more is your choice of subjects. Zooombies, yeah That's one concept that can never go wrong. So on that note, I'm gonna recommend a fun Norwegian Zombie splatter, Dead Snow which features...wait for it...Nazi zombies! It's exactly as awesome as it sounds
Well, I'll be back for sure. Keep this baby updated!

very cool sketchbook orstrander! i love your zombie stuff, the wild thing looks a little bit like the dragon from the neverending story, or at least to me. i think the wild things are beefier or something. keep up the good work!

Thanks you Jesus!! It's so funny, after you mentioned that about the neverending story and the dragon I totally saw what you were thinking!
Ah well, it was still a fun challenge trying to come up with something that might be a part of that universe, and I agree "Wild Things" are a bit more beefier.
Thanks for dropping by!
Here's what I tried to cook up for this week's chow. Killer Prom Queen.
