With your life renderings (for example those babies), I reckon you can increase the contrast in general. I'm thinking maybe another two shades of darkness + a shade of highlights should do the trick. Not sure if I'm right, have a go.

nice sketchbook you've got going here, i've had the deception guy from page 1 in my inspiring art folder for awhile and never knew who painted it :p im digging the hi-saturation anime-esque colors you've got going on a lot of these too.

hey ! so many posts since last time. you are improving fast, i wanted to tell you that you should try to shade it more .use more time on light/shadow for the realisme , but i can clearly see you have been working on that on your last sketches .i really like your concepts on that project. im looking forward to see more shading with your new tablet. i think its smart to draw variated , animals humans and evirons. Grate work !

Über sweet link to anatomy you posten in my sketchbook. Very appreciated!

I found some inspiring things in your sketchbook:
    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1158700339
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...udy-sarge1.jpg
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1.../environ01.jpg

Very nice work, even if they need some minor time spent more on them, they tingle my imagination.

You asked for it... harassment awaay!
You should have a look at your faces.. or that is... heads... the underlying structure is skewed in a lot of 'em.. Check out some Loomis, for example..

Love the Pirakha-designs!... really clean! Kickass

What dCept said, and don't forget to work up on your figures too.

In general, I think you can afford to have the hatchings finer and more ordered in your sketches, like you did in this one: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...s/sketch66.jpg.

    Keep it up mate

personally my favs are no1 and 5...but 5 is more snake like.the body is very "classic" still. If he's a bot, you could go wild with arm n leg articulations. When you're sure of the helmet design (front and side) you could repeat a similar design on the chest plate, on the legs and on the arms. The repetition of patterns cou lead to an effective design

hehehe gotta thank chuck, mate for the avatar

    ciao

Number 7 of the heads... 10 as a close runner up... you gonna model that for the dominance war? Dig the thumbs you started with as well

Gonna be cool to see updates!

    Thumbs up

I say, try to mix the best thing of each one into one helmet the gets the best of each one of those.
Also, try to practice with lighting simple objects, im having problems with that too, i see that you also need to get values more accuratelly, have in mind planes. Study some perspective that will help you on that.
K, good look, keep at it, i like your concepts
