    Red face aaeem's sketchies...updated

hi my name is azim wan...i'm 22 from malaysia...nice to meet you guys...

i'm a final year film and animation student at a local uni...my uni have been criticised for producing "mouse monkeys" because the curiculum mainly focus on software learning...i've been frustrated by this matter and start losing interest in 3d graphics and computer animation due to my lack of knowledge in traditional arts...

by starting this skecthbook thread i hope i can improve my drawing skill and eleviate my bad habits in drawings thus improving my artistic sense....

i'm looking foward to hear tips, crits and comments from you guys...

    Good looking studies.
But don't forget loomis's free online book. check it out at www.fineart.sk
As a crit, try getting a hand on planes. it really helps on getting a good form and understanding of the subject.
Keep working hard and you'll get there =)

I like the page with the shed and chicken coop designs. Reminds me of some RPG games. Mushashi and Dark Cloud comes to mind. As to your head studies keep practicing on them, you could only get better!

You posted some diverse subject matter-but then it all went to people studies. You do the simplified learning body work, I never got that stuff to work for me so let me know how it comes out for you.

Yeh I wanna see you try to do a fully rendered copy. Copy a photograph, it can even be of a person! I know you'll love that.
