    Great progress

Flipped through your sketchbook and there is a great sence of improvement along the way. Lovely studies but I like your really loose sketches the best.

Some of them feel rigid or rushed at times, but when I see really fresh stuff like this and this I think you have great talent. Your comics could benefit greatly form this kind of fresh and loose linework.

Be loose and be bold with your sketches, and experiment with color too.
    Keep em coming!

    PS.:
Many thx for your comment im my SB. Feel free to honestly crit me, I'm here to improve.

Nice sketchbook. I like the figure studies and master copies you have, especially that Michelangelo torso on the top. There's a real sense of weight and twisting there. I just wish you went a little darker in some areas, just to really push that form and make it jump off the page. Never the less, sweet work.

Omy goodness, those bridgeman studies are so incredibly yummy, I salute you!
As for the painting, use a bigger brush. And that shadow turns reeeeealy black reeeeeeal quick. But seriously, I can't get over those studies.

Hey duder, thanks for coming by my sketchbook!

Wow, your faces and sense of anatomy are amazing! If you learned to draw like that from Burne Hogarth's books, then maybe I will pick one up ;D

Oh, and I really liked the final panel of the city from post #120. Is your comic up for public viewing?

    Kudos!

You are really improving rapidly, I love your high contrast work, I think it takes a really keen understanding of structure to pull it off as well as you have.

Thanks for the visit and I will keep practicing. The guitar will have to wait for a bit, but i'm sure I will get round to it soon. Some nice stuff here. After seeing your digital stuff I want to have a play myself. Will drop by again soon. Cheers Phil

I really love the dark mood of everything in here, Especially the random hand studies, the guy in the noose on the first page, and the photo with you as a skeleton. That is really interesting.

Skulls are really beautiful aren't they...

Plus, the Zombie Slaughter image is br00tal.
