The anatomy seems a bit choppy but I do think the faces are really good. I'd like to see something a little more "dynamic" if you get what I mean? Keep posting!

By the way, I also like those cartoons.

You have some great facial work here...your characters all seem to have their own personality. Try grabing some reference material and doing some full body studies (just as i should) and it will boost your confidence a bunch!!!

That perspective study looks really nice, I got a whole book on perspective - but Im too scared to look in it. So complicated.

Your studies are great, I think you could push them if you didn't use such a heavy line. I think that one of the most important aspects of a study is the values. Have a go at doing some serious value studies and use a greater range as well.

Thanks for the comment in my sketchbook. Most of my work is from ref, I use virtual pose a lot for the references.

Yeah, I meant shade and shadow when I mentioned the value studies. Your work would really benifit from a greater range of values. Not only that, but when you put in the shade or shadow, think about its edge. Is it a well hard, well defined edge or a soft edge. The greater you understand values and the way they behave, the better you will understand the form.
Hope to see some new studies soon .

just a crit on your sketchbook title. you need an apostrophe at the end of the title. right now it's "sarcophagus sketchbook" it should be "sarcophagus' sketchbook" it needs that little tick at the end of the "s" of sarcophagus. i know this cause my name ends in an S and for many years i left the little apostrophe out.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Nice studies...my only suggestion would to wtach your line weight in your ear studies. Try to pronounce the larger, more important ones (like outside and main lobe) and de-emphasize the smaller, supporting lines....keep it up!!

hey this is my first post on this site ever, as i'm saying
love your studies and i'm spottin some major progress
although some crits on your linework,etc.. i find your sketches kinda lacks some strong lines/ try to bring some life into your work with variation in the lines, it needs a strong line sometimes, which will give way more contrast and lifeness, bring some more light/dark values (clair obscur shit)
i discovered a new artist a couple of days ago: stefano ricci, you should check out an artbook of him, it will be really helpful for you, his art really lives man, beautiful shit. his lines are constructive really strong also cause of his use of different materials,
you do understand that it's not fun anymore to draw all the time with the
    same ol' graphite

you'll be really amazed by stefano ricci's work, and try to watch on your linework, and variation in light/dark

when i got sum' time i will post som of my work, come check it out then, till then, and don't forget to draw like never before, to increase skillz with a fast speed, but you're defenetly on the run, keep up the good work,
anyway: hope it's been a little helpfull for you

If you get stuck going forward on the pencils, go back through older pencils that you like, and ink them. I agree with others about your inking. The inking on the gas mask and suit guy and the whip guy looked great. I could see that when you ink it takes away any of the tentativeness and turns your drawing much more powerful. I don't think you should let that skill sleep too much. Keep working and believe in yourself.

Haven't been in here for ages, nice updates - values are looking more defined. Don't neglect life drawing if you haven't tried it before, it will ground the anatomy you have learned from books.

Your inking remains hot. It's nice to see the perspective work too. I know it's hard to keep working, but I can see you're committed to doing so.
