Can't I have one more chance

Sorry about my responses months ago

Most people here still think I'm not making any progress well now I'm trying to get better with my art and you know some of you guys/girls say I should "Treasure your time with your work" Well I am now also at the moment I'm quite focused on doing machines to not androids just machines and a few humans or anthros to.

I have no intention of getting a job if thats what you think my future is I just like doing art for myself n maybe a few quick images or a simple gift for someone.

I'm also working harder on characters anatomy to and background images to.

But I have a decent life other than just doing art 24/7 everyday so I mostly spend about 30 minutes on a picture depending on what I'm up to, If I'm doing nothing on that day then I spend a few hours on a picture or two.... Also as you obviously know art is always a slow process and I take my time now to.

Anyway apart from antomy what kind of images do you think I'm better at? Traditional Paintings, Traditional Sketches or anything else? For this paragraph I'm just saying I'm not gonna follow your orders like that "I will stick to one kind of art style that you selected", for this paragraph in this thread I just need your oppinions on this.

(Added) Oh one more thing I'm out of paints anyway so thats one reason why I stay away from my art a bit.

Then what's the point. Basically you're saying I want your opinions but I don't care to follow them.

you seem to have gotten it wrong there.

to put it in another way I will do the kind of art I've been recomended to do but I won't do it all the time thats what I'm trying to say, its obvious that most people would do different kinds of art.

There's no such thing as the "right kind of art" it's about getting basics down before doing anything else.
It's not something you can escape if you want to improve even an inch.

If you're serious about this, then start up a sketchbook, don't post these attention getting threads anymore, and just draw your little heart out.

The only chances you'll get are the ones you make for yourself. Don't beg us to take you seriously, show us why you should be taken seriously.

    Now go draw, paint, whatever...

To be honest. I don't think anyone REALLY cares. Just get your work out there and take whatever advice you recieve. You dont need to convince us of anything, and don't try and explain yourself. That is all you have to do. Quit talking about what you are going to do and just do it.

Now, ask yourself this. Are you doing all this just to get attention, or do you really want to get better?

You have one post with an actual drawing. Don't expect many replies for that. Keep posting and you will get noticed. Keep drawing and if you're doing something right or wrong, someone will come along and point it out. Take the replies as road signs....you can obey them and get to your destination quicker or take another unguided route and get lost.

    krystal,
you posted ONE picture, ONE day ago...
    give it some time.

some people here have had sketchbooks for years, and they rarely receive comments daily...
unless of course they update daily.

No offense. And I really do mean no offense.

But maybe people arent really interested enough to comment on a mimicked android character from an anime?

Try diversing yourself a little bit more than to just that and post more work of your work in the sketchbook.

Btw... You don't need just paints to do art. You can do it with anything from a crayola crayon to different things you find in your kitchen and maybe even your own blood. And yeah, people actually do use their own blood.

I'm not desperate to become popular, like I said I don't rush my work.

Rushing my artwork will always result in a bad picture.

then what are you doing all this writing in the Lounge for?

oh right, to get one more chance.

    For what?
one more chance to annoy people?

try listening to what people are telling you, and DO NOT write any more, but post drawings. Respect is earned, not persuaded.

Believe it or not, Odayga was the offspring of Einstein, Leonardo, and Gandhi compared to this kid.

People's attitudes are a result of your behaviour. Change the behaviour and the attitudes will follow, but it will take time. Posting "look at me" threads doesn't help.
Step one in the Krystallwolvelt rehabilitaion program: Do not respond to this post, or any others in this thread, no matter how much you want to. It won't help. Let it die.

Are you kidding me? My sketchbook has 1700+ views and only 30+ comments of wich more then half are my own with daily updates. And for the crits that I got I needed to ask the people on irc to please come and spare a minute or two to crit me.

Things dont come for you, you are not that interesting. So if you want attention, work for it and show you are atleast a bit serious.

ps: I should make a drama post, seems like a way to get exposure :o

And we'll just give step one a kick start here. Closing the thread.

Good luck Krystall, have some patience and take a few chances - some of the advice you are being given here just might be very helpful to you in the longrun, even if you can't decipher how it might relate to anthros or your "style" just yet.
