I think v0rbiss takes my vote. In terms of depicting heroism, his is very clear. It's also funny, in that (to me) the sword is both portaying his strength and... ummm... his cockyness? haha well yeah. He takes my vote.

Although Luxun has some good PS skillz, his doesn't really give me a good idea of "Hero". The only reason i thought of Hero when i looked at it, was because it said "Hero" in the bottom right corner

Great job everyone though, good times.

I quite liked yours prophet, it made sense, was well painted/lighted and was something different to the others even if it was a tad cliched.
Luxun. yours didnt make much sense, but it was well painted and had some mood.

Prophet gets my vote. He displayed heroism the best methinks. Putting a weapon in your hand doesnt make you a hero. All I see in a muscle man is a guy who can beat people up

yeah, its not all about a sweet piece, its about how well you can convey the topic and I think Prophet did that best!

My vote goes for Evil Sloth (but I can't vote for some reason.) I just love how the ships make it seem like a celebration- where as most people took the topic as a
"Saves the day" scene (as I did), he took as more of a "Celebrated heroic moment", where the hero returns home from a long journey after slaying the bad guy (and brings back his head!)

The ships are great... They have streamers on the end, and the color scheme makes a very nice, happy picture! Good work.

Though there are a few things that could be improved on.

Good work everyone who actually turned something in! >_>

My vote goes to Evil. Tackled a figure right from the front and did a great job on it.

I voted for blanquish : not because of that his rendering, but because his improvment! he deserves my vote, althouhg he could clean it up alittl

however.. one of the rules from now and on should be

YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE CONCEPT IN ORDER TO EARN A VOTE
Im getting tired of seing all the "way awsome renderings" takeing the price
    every time.
