    Bastion's 7 turnarounds

Welp, can y'all guess why I'm doing turns for the Bastion's 7 characters? Profiles will be done tomorrow.

There are some tweaks that will be changed in the 3/4 front. such as; the shorts' cuffs at the bottom. i'll be making the bottoms of the shorts looking like the 3/4 backviews

    Hope y'all digs!

Yes! More from Cheeks! You are such a huge source of inspiration for me (along with Mike Wieringo and Djurdjevic). You have such incredible sense of motion, curves and dynamics. The designs are lovely, as usual. Saw the comicon press-release-conference-thingie about hellboy. Totally rocks! Pelvis-thrusting ftw eh?^^ I wish you the best mate! Could you please give us more?!

    No pain, no gain.

    Yay !
    I dig it !
The stance of the first character is great. Well, all the characters you draw have a great stance, in fact ! lol ! But I really dig the first one.
    More, please !

I love this slick, clean style you have. It's very great to see the whole character in these orthos too.

Wow, that's some awesome swooshy lines! I quite like the helmet, even though I feel like the black 'mouth/jaw' flattens it a bit too much. Are you sure about using such a wide bladed sword for the lady?

    Wuuuuurd!
Stoked to see those badboys colored up! Badboy and badgirl anyway. Lovin' the line work man! I also like his sword design more in the turn around than in the action shot. It reads better, and I'm always a fan of swords with little to no handguard. Good stuff man!

    Good stuff as always.

    Quite elegant.

I also enjoyed your Hellboy Animated panel at the Con. Here's wishing you the best.

Absolutely stunning line work, (as usual!)...and the colouring, beautiful, (as usual!)

BTW, saw the video for the Hellboy animated panel at SDCC, it looks excellent. I'd love to see you designs turned into a game. They would look great leaping about on screen!

    Keep posting!!

Don't mind me saying this, but I think the term "art" has been lost somewhere in translation...I like lineworking just as the next person, but I hardly consider it an effort in bringing something new to art, not to mention you don't advance with this style tecnhique-wise...

Charlie 2.0: excuse me, but who are you to decide what art is? Is animation or cartoons of any sort not art? Everyone has a style, what's wrong with that? I'm really trying to figure out what usefulness your statement had.

Charlie 2.0, if your profile didn't mention the little fun-fact that you're an instigator, I'd wonder where the hell you were going with this. Even so, your avatar tells me you like the "Rob Liefield crosshatch-the-fuck-out-of-everthing-to-make-it-look-cool-while-covering-up-a-weak-drawing look" so it may be that you're incapable of appreciating just how difficult it is to convey gesture, mass, and attitude with such simple linework. To me, the spontaneous feel and vibrance to Cheek's characters is about as good as it gets.... except that he keeps getting better.

I know we're not supposed to respond to old threads but finding this again seemed cool to me. I wonder if this project is still in a pipeline somewhere?
