Great work. You might be perfect for what we're looking for. Let me know if you'd be interested in the following:

We are producing a company brochure that will feature a custom color illustration on its cover.

Or idea is that the composition will likely include an image of a company branded concept truck -- a more rounded and modern take on a Good Humor style truck. The truck should look aerodynamic with an appearance that is funky, hip, fluid, kinetic, etc. without being so futuristic that it looks like the Jetsons. Our company is generally branded with liquid and motion as a theme, and blue is a constant. The truck will be stopped on a downtown street with the driver and others handing out beverages from window on the side the truck. People in the scene will vary in age and demographic, from businessmen to mother and child.

There should be copyspace included for a headline and our logo.

Required: Skilled experience with illustration or painting. Fast turnaround. Ability to modify illustration based on art direction.

    Compensation: $500-$1000.

    Turnaround: Completion by 9/17/10.

    Please send portfolio.

    You do great work

I like your comic related as well as fantasy drawings. I'm looking to put together a Web Comic in the coming months and I am looking for someone to draw my strip.

I figure the Web Comic would be only three cells, black-and-white and probably the characters will be line drawn or stick figures. I have not yet made a final decision about this.

Please let me know what kind of salary or earnings per cell or page you are looking for?

    Thanks!

    Ed

    Thumbs up comics

Are you looking for a comic book artist?
    -Neeeeed those pages bad like?
-Can't find someone to sit down and do a whole 24-32 page comic?
-Pulling out your hair because you keep getting dud artists who can't complete?
-Finding out that your comic book project is going to be more stress then you thought?

Well have no fear I can take on your project.
But you need to read this first before getting a hold of me.

    Comics:
I don't do just pencil and inking I digitally paint the page fully. You can see some of my past comic work here for insight into what I mean. I have new sequential pages to show that are not on any of my threads. Please email me for a private viewing of my new stuff..

Panels/Frames:These page prices include 4-5 panels, any additional panels after 5, I charge 40$ for every additional panel.

Edits: These page prices include 2 major edits and after that I charge by the hour (16$ hr). I'm fine with doing minor edits for free (within reason). If you would like to know more about edits please email me and I can give you a break down of what I mean by major and minor edits and how we can go about preventing major edits from occurring.

Profit sharing: I don't work on any project for royalties alone. If the profit sharing is considerably generous included with my page rates above, I will consider giving discounts on a per page rate. Or discounts on extra things, like covers and character sheets, that you may need to advertise the comic with. As examples, this may be something like 5-10$ off every 5th page, or a couple free character sheets. With royalty sharing I usually go out of my way to see it get to comic cons and that I partner up with you, the writer, to see it be introduced to the world. On the whole I don't really need royalties on top of my page rates, but it does make me invested in the project like a partner. So its something to consider.

I feel like I need to restate that I never work on royalties alone. Not in the 10 years that I have been a freelancer have I ever had to, nor will I ever consider it. So please don't ask me I will only decline you politely .... I'm sorry but I get a lot of emails from writers each month.... and I thought I should make that pretty straight forward.

Contract: For any project that is more than 400$ I will have to make up a contract with you, that we will agree upon and both get signed copies of VIA snail mail.

Adult Content:I have a gut of steal, so if you need anything that isn't exactly PG13 then don't hesitate. Gore, Sexual content, and questionable morals are all things I have worked with in the past. I wont judge you or say no based on content.

I have extra space for work any time.
    Concept work:
One high detailed single character shot (one pose on a blank background)
    $100CAD Grey scale
    $170CAD Color

Character sheet (3 portrait shots and 2 character poses on blank background)
    $130CAD Grey scale
    $200CAD Color

Turn around sheet (5 turns of the same pose and 5 dynamic portrait shots on blank background)
    190$CAD Grey scale
    260$CAD Color

Anything with a detailed background/action posses or group shots are automatically 500$CAD this would be art similar to cover work or poster work.
    examples:
    http://rorke.deviantart.com/art/May-...ting-143554394
    http://rorke.deviantart.com/#/d2h4ssi

    One Logo design= $250
    T-shirt Design= $300
    CD covers= $300-to-$500
    Comic cover work = $400-to-$600
    Landscape scene = $200-to-$500

    Comics RATES:

I don't do just pencil and inking I digitally paint the page fully. You can see some of my past comic work here for insight into what I mean. I have new sequential pages to show that are not on any of my threads. Please email me for a private viewing of my new stuff..

    1 PAGE with 5 panels on it=
    GREY SCALE $200
    COLOR $250

10 PAGE GREY SCALE COMIC = 2000$ CAD
    10 PAGE COLORED COMIC = 3000$CAD

24 PAGE GREY SCALE COMIC = 5000$ CAD
    24 PAGE COLORED COMIC = 7000$CAD

The following contracts I feel are major undertakings, as they can take anywhere from 8 months to 2 years for me to complete depending on the page amount and edits and how well we work together. It might look like a lot but when you do the math your just paying me minimum wage. $10,000 divided by 8 months = $1250 a month, $1250/ 4 weeks in a month = $312.5 a week divided by a 40 hour work week = $7.8 an hour. I am willing to work at that rate because if your going to keep me in work for 1-2 years then I would rather have steady work like that then have to go looking for contracts. So please don't get a hold of me asking for a better rate then that because that is already the lowest rate I can give.

48 PAGE GREY SCALE GRAPHIC NOVEL = 10,000$ CAD
    48 PAGE COLORED GRAPHIC NOVEL = 13,000$CAD

120 PAGE GREY SCALE GRAPHIC NOVEL = 25,000$ CAD
120 PAGE COLORED GRAPHIC NOVEL = 30,000$ CAD

Panel limit- If the panels on the page exceed 5 panels you pay 40$ for every extra panel added to the page.

Here are some questions that I would need answered before I can give you a page rate that suites your projects needs.

-Does this need to be at 300DPI?

    -When's the start date?

    -When's the due date?

    - How many pages?

-If your thinking about profit sharing, what type of % are you thinking about to bargain out?

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Cover Work

Cover work usually takes 2.5 the amount of work as a normal comic page so your looking anywhere from 400-550$ for comic cover work.

Here are some things that you should know before we can go any farther.

-The rates that I give include 2 major edits to each image after that I charge by the hour. (16$per hour) I like to get as much reference material from you and I ask many questions so that we have little or no edits off the bat so this should not be a big concern to you. I also will get a hold of you about such matters long before I start logging my hours. If the panel limit exceeds 5 panels I charge 40$ per every extra panel.

-After the edits and a payment plan is agreed upon you would then draft up a contract and then mail 2 signed copies to me, one of which I would sign and mail back to you. Nothing fancy just has to be what we discussed and agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties.

-I take a small % upfront to lock in all agreements. (non-negotiable) With the payment plan I have discussed above this will already be taken care of through the payment for the first handful of pages. Work could not start until the first deposit has passed through to my bank securely or has reached me in some way. Also work could not start until we both have signed contracts.

I have been working for Team Demonicuse for the last 2 years, I have now completed my 4th issue with them.

As of Jan 2013 working on 2 more comic projects and my space is limited to only one more comic this year.

I hope this information has been helpful - Do to the undertaking the last 8 comics books I have done I am not accepting any budgets under my asking price at this time.
    ----
Every once in a while a writer will come along and want to hire me out for 2-3 months. This usually saves them money, since uninterrupted work usually generates more pages. So you have the option of hiring me out for 1650$CAD a month

Rule of thumb, I usually get deposits in from writers 2-3 months before the start date of most of my comics now. My schedule with comics/graphic novels is booked sometimes a year in advance, since most of my comics series run 8-10 issues long. One comic book series for me is usually a 2-4 year commitment and I really have to manage my time well between different projects. If I have no pressure happening at the time a comic book will normally take me 6 months to do. If I do have more then one on the go it will most likely take 8-9 months for a 24-32 page comic. My best advice for people seeking artists is not to expect a fast turn around, Go for 2-4 pages a month. Any more then that and the pages turn to crap and you burn the artist out.

Here are some questions that I would need answered before I can give you a page rate that suites your projects needs.

-Does this need to be at 300DPI?

    -When's the start date?

    -When's the due date?

I hope this information has been helpful and that I have not scared you away with my rates. I know working within a certain budget can be very stressful. Given the economic times, I am more then willing to talk about ways that we can make this work, within reason.

    Sincerely,

Wondering if you can help me

Hi. I am developing a trading card game and was wondering if you could draw the portraits on the middle of the cards. It is a big game and will probably have a couple thousand cards at some point and it will for sure have highly complex pictures needed a lot of the time. I can't pay you loads and loads but I'm sure we can negotiate something. Please get back to me at chromiumninja@gmail.com. thank you

    Game art

I have included a set of 10 examples you can look through.(gamesamplepack.jpg) This is my most resent game art. That is a set of 10 from a card game I just finished. I can change my style to suite your needs- Also I should let you know I don't do sprites... My work is 2D concept art.

For that price most of the work doesn't include a background but more of a gradient and the main object in the foreground. If your expecting elaborate backgrounds/landscapes and group shots then the price goes up according to the detail and time needed. So I would need to see some examples for more detailed work.

Here is a general outline of my rates. These rates include full rights and 2 major edits.

    Concept work:
One high detailed single character shot (one pose on a blank background)
    $100CAD Grey scale
    $170CAD Color

Character sheet (3 portrait shots and 2 character poses on blank background)
    $130CAD Grey scale
    $200CAD Color

Turn around sheet (5 turns of the same pose and 5 dynamic portrait
    shots on blank background)
    190$CAD Grey scale
    260$CAD Color
    Name: samplepack.jpg
Views: 1876
Size: 339.0 KB

Anything with a detailed background/action posses or group shots are
automatically 500$CAD this would be art similar to cover work or
    poster work.

    One Logo design= $250
    T-shirt Design= $300
    CD covers= $300-to-$500
    Comic cover work = $400-to-$600
    Landscape scene = $200-to-$500

If you did want to hire me hourly here is my general rates:

Depending on the workload I usually ask for 13-to-16$CAD an hour, I
generally aim to make $350-to-$500CAD per week. If the contract turns
into something long term I try to make $1400-to-2000 a month. Usually
people just hire me out per design/contract though.

-After the edits and a payment plan is agreed upon we would then draft
    up a contract.

-I take a small % upfront to lock in all agreements. (non-negotiable)
Work could not start until the first deposit has passed through to my
bank securely or has reached me in some way. Also work could not
start until we both have signed contracts.

Contract for each set- invoice included

I hope this information has been helpful. Let me know where you found my work online when you email?

    Sincerely,
