It was a great event. I wish I were more awake but, watching Todd was great, and Donato was great as usual in his Donato fashion. I cant wait for the next one. Im not going out the day before this time.. Well, I'll try not to go out the night before and maybe I can join the crew for some grub after. In any event.. Until next month!

Deschamps- Didnt know you were there.. Would have liked to chat with you...

Hey Vigostar. Yeah too bad we didn't get a chance to meet. Maybe I'll see you at the next one. I was the bald blurry head right smack dab in the middle of timpaatkin's first photo.

Eric- Now that I know what the back of your head looks like I should def. be able to pick you of the crowd depending on how many other bald fellows there are that day!

BTW-Tristan.. theres an uncanny resemblence there....! It should be your new avatar!

and whats the deal with the Syd Mead lecture?? any tickets left for that?

Thanks to all of YOU guys for coming out to these events and making them possible!

And thanks to Todd and Donato. They gave up time from work and family to share their process with us. It's very much appreciated, guys!

And thanks to Dan for being a great event partner and to Greg who gets roped into helping out in everything I do...without ever complaining.

    (Pictures to come tonight.)

This girl on the portrait has a personality of Jeanne d' Arc, stern, fanatic, self-forgetting and fragile in the same time. There is so much suffering and pain and fear on her face. And huge effort to overpower all this. Hard inner work, even struggle.
