Do you think there's enough spaces for me to ask if the illustration club at VCU would be interested in going? I think we would be looking at a range of 15 to 30 people. A gathering like this would be a great experience for the club -
first come, first serve.
if you acted now, im sure it'd be no problem.
Thanks Dan, I just sent the powers that be an email. I didn't know if you had filled up yet or not, since this is freakishly awesome. I'd love to come, so we'll see what happens. If I can't get them all to go, I'll russle up a group to make a roadtrip -
i'm waiting on a buddy to let me know if he can go before i buy tickets.
are they on sale already, or almost sold out?
if they're going fast, i may just buy em and see what happens.
any info on this anyone?
i'm talking specifically about the oct 7th one.
actually, i called them and they said that there are only a few gone so far.
so i think next week will hopefully be soon enough to get a ticket still.
the girl i talked to said i could call next week, so i'm thinking someone will hopefully be there.
The Society's exhibit halls are closed in August, but they are OPEN to take calls. The place closes in August each year so that it can be repainted, have the plumming fixed, and generaly catch up on work without teh distarctions of their normal activities. In other words, do not be afarid to call and ask for tickets- there will be someone there to take your order and mail out the tickets.
We are focusing on the October 7th event (Donato & Lockwood) first so I imagine the the tickets for the November 11 event will be available a while longer. However, once the schools get wind of it I think they will jump on those tickets. I don’t think you need to rush...but then we DID end up turning away a lot of people who waited too long last time.

I'm sure it won't be a big deal, but then again...you never know. These AOL events are getting quite popular
