    Arrow Sprout's Dream - 1page comic

I'm doing a one page comic for fun.(kinda got inspired by the flight comic.)Here's the super-duper rough sketch, sorry but photoshop really make me lazy doing good sketch. I hope it's understandable. I'll post a color key version soon.

I don't really get it. What's with the 5 panels that have the exact same thing in them? And what's the big space in the middle of the page for?

I hope it's a little clearer now. It's a simple story about a sprout wanting to fly so bad that he grew into this winged shape tree. The five panels and the big space was my way of saying that *long* time has pass. Obviously not working so well at the moment.

Start rendering now, I'll keep updating this image below until I'm done.

Not done yet, but a quick question. Is this easier to read or does the one with white frame looks better? Apparently I couldn't decide... been shift'in it back and forth for awhile now.

Meh, that's exactly what i thought. it's kinda impossible to give the piece better contrast without taking away its bright character though. I didn't want to use any border either...

    Oh man what a head-ache.

Awww no comments? I know it's nothing great, but is it at least understandable?

I really like the idea behind it, a nice concept. I like how you drew the panels too; the last one is my favorite though, you did a nice job with the tree-wings. I would like to say though that at first I had trouble discerning in the last panel that the tree was towering above the rest of the forest(at least I think that's what's happening there, maybe I'm wrong?) It just looks too flat in the mountains' shadows. Darkening the outlines of the trees in the shadows would help.

I have understood what happens in this comic only in the last one (which is really good BTW)
    Nice idea and realization!

i love it! beautiful rendering; although in the first sketch i thought in the last panel it gets plucked by a bird that flies away, i prefer that ending haha

Teh: That's hillarious! I like that ending too.

Thx for the comments, I'll try to fix it a bit more later. I hope the last panel wasn't too much of a style different from the first page. Sorry about the rough sketch posts, too. I really like to keep thing loose until I start rendering. I'll post another strip soon. Kinda want to keep this going as a practice.
