    futuristic environment

    props to stephan martiniere for inspiring me so much to steal one of his compositions.

    just a futuristic environment that isn't at all done, just starting to add detail. pretty set on these values unless anybody has a better idea of where i should be heading with this. tear it apart guys

    I like the composition...not sure how much you "stole" from that guy in that aspect ...but it's very effective in helping the eye to move along the piece, down to the figure. I just realized, though, that the uy is in the center...I'd move him off to the right a bit more - I think that would help emphasize the size of the buildings.

    This could be a personal preference, but I would lower the building in the distance a little bit, and open up the sky a little more. I *heart* sky, so maybe that's just me.

    Looks good, though!

    thanks! ya i'll post a new version pretty quick, the computer im using to paint it is absolute ass so it's taking me longer than i hoped but it's still coming along. i've darkened up the fg a bit and detailed the bg more and added some people walking along those paths to add some sense of scale to everything. i'll post soon, thanx everybody
