    lcd vs crt

for digital art, which is the better choice, lcd or crt? and/or which do you prefer? i heard that crts are much better.

sometimes i wonder if i'm some kind of supreme being and the world exists only because i want it to

Unless you are looking for super accurate color reproduction, LCDs these days are just fine. There's no longer much difference in image quality, and I'm actually leaning to say that the new LCDs today are better than CRTs. Plus they are easier on your eyes.

The prices have been dropping on LCDs recently so you can just about flip a coin between the 2.

Having tried both and working with both from work and home, I prefer CRTs. I value colour accuracy too much to switch to an all LCD station...
