    Question Trying to see what im doing wrong

    Hello all:

    I have been trying to colour my drawing in Photoshop and so far the results have been less then spectacular. I should say now, that I have a mouse so I’m sure that is part of the problem but in truth I am feeling a little lost on what to do.

    I’m looking for thoughts, even if they are as rough as this drawing

    God Bless;

    If you have a few bucks on hand you might just want to run out and grab a little wacom tablet. You can get a little grahire for $99 brand new. Up until about four days ago that’s what I did all my digi painting with. Also, you’re being very timid with your coloring. If you float your drawing as a multiply layer over your color (let us know if you’re not sure how to do that), you really can’t screw it up. Try making a few bold color choices and then refining down to something you like.

    Hope this helps! Keep posting.

    Ok i have set it to multiply and it sure did brighten the image up a bit. As for the "occupation of 30%" I am unsure what that is referring to (opacity?).

    My initial thoughts were to develop it in grayscale to make sure I have the values right and then work on the colouring. But now that I think about it, I wonder if I would be adding an extra step

    Thanks for the help, Ill repost once i have done much more work on it, till then here is a pic of the multiply diffrence.
